Gothic Lolita Fashion
Gothic Lolita is a Harajuku street fashion. A post-modern vision of rococo decadence and victorian elegance, lolita merges innocence and macabre, sweet and urbane, femininity and feminism, in a surprisingly reflection of our times. Whether taking afternoon tea in chic salons or enjoying a night out at the trendiest club, lolitas are both at ease and incongruous.

Hi everyone

More details about Anime Wasabi...

After the panel on Friday night, if anyone is interested, I'd love to get some people in lolita together to go do purikura at Q-Club!

Also, as many people have mentioned, Alice in Wonderland opens this weekend. If anyone is interested, maybe we can get a group together to go see the film after the tea party on Sunday?
1st-Mar-2010 12:09 am - Alice meet up?
I was curious to know if anybody here was planning an alice meetup in the denver or lakewood area? Not this weekend, but maybe in a few weeks when it isnt quite so crowded?
26th-Feb-2010 03:59 pm - Miyavi!
Miyavi has updated his MySpace page, has a new vid out and is that a style update? What catagory would a Miyavi-esqe Lolita style fall into?

Want to come and show off your lovely coordinate in a Fashion Show?

YOU CAN!

During the Coplay intermission there is a small fashion show slot where non-competition entries show off. Since I get to orgainize this portion of the show, I thought "Oh hey let's get some real "fashion" up here to represent!" It's a perfect oppurtunity for all the local loli's to off the amazing outfits that I know are going to be there. ^_^

If you are intrested feel free to PM me or reply here. =D

girls just wanna have fun
 Hello,
I'm somewhat new to the lolita fashion (many years of admiration, and now that I have my own means, participation) and would like to meet up with other members or go to events. Are there any coming up? I live in the neighbor state of Wyoming and am willing to travel!

aww yeah!
Ladies (and gents):

We need a lolita weekend/getaway stat. Please post your ideas here! This is the brainstorming post. Mainly where/when/how/what and cost!

I am thinking something like, arrive early Saturday morning, in time for brunch, then do a fun activity, have afternoon tea, another fun activity, late dinner, movie and game times, sleep, wake up for light breakfast, activity, late lunch, activity and then time to leave! For the hardcore, we could arrive Friday night and do some sort of activity and dinner... looking for more ideas on what the miscellaneous activities can be! These can range from sight seeing, crafting, make-up tutorials, etc!

So next aspect is when. I am thinking February, April or May. March is another event I am planning but also Anime Wasabi! April is Starfest. February might be too early to save/ make reservations~! May would be the best month, I think, but let me know your thoughts. If we did it in May, maybe we could even do it over Memorial Weekend?

Where... this is possibly the hardest. We could go easy and do it in one of the cute victorian bed and breakfasts that are around i.e. Glen Eyrie in the Springs, Castle Marne in Denver or we could be more adventurous and go to a place in the mountains-- several places in Georgetown, or even the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park (personally that's my vote!).

Cost... this is the trickiest! Rooms are likely at least $100/night but you would be sharing with at least one other person. Then all of the activities and meals. Let's come up with some ideas first and then I can figure out the price. I will definitely try to keep things reasonable as I know not everyone has reliable sources of income. I'd like to give everyone time to save though so we can have a fab time! Let me know your ideas! I've wanted to do this for like, two years now, haha.
14th-Dec-2009 08:35 am - Tutorials
aww yeah!
Ladies! I was thinking of doing some skin care and make-up tutorials that are lolita-oriented... would anyone be interested in this type of thing? I could do it online or we could do it in person, sort of like a class. What do you think?
