The seiyuu haven't been announced yet, so I'm going crazy figuring them out. Someone on kuroshitsuji said they were the same as the drama CD, but I'm not so sure. If they are, they got a lot better since, although I'm not still not completely sold on Ciel.

What do you think? Well, Sebastian definitely isn't Koyasu Takehito! He sounds a little like Miki Shin'ichirou, but isn't (probably). I think it might be a NeoRomance boy, but which one? As for Ciel... not sure. He sounds a little familiar, but I don't think he's Minagawa Junko, Kaida Yuki, Saiga Mitsuki or Paku Romi... None of the women that are skilled boys' roles, in other words. But hey, maybe it IS the CD cast. Maybe that's why they're so familiar.

Edit: 2ch are saying Sebastian is Ono Daisuke and Ciel is Sakamoto Maaya... Ah, really? They're saying it in betweeen FUJOSHIFUJOSHIKIMOIKIMOIFUJOSHI, so whatever. I think they might be right on the second one.

I love the bit with Tanaka at the beginning, showing they're going to keep the comedy. That's why I love the manga so much -- it really is perfectly balanced.

...I'm sorry. I don't think I'm going to stop talking about this anime/manga for a while.

It's becoming increasingly hard to be part of that fandom u____u Everywhere I look, nowadays, there's just... so much stupidity and sheer fantardness that I feel ashamed. Not ashamed of loving JaeHo (never!) but just... ashamed that a pairing I love so much and has so much potential must have such a childish, idiotic and frankly embarrassing fan-following. =|

jaeho_yongwonhi is overflowing with posts that lack substance and abound of plain stupidity (and are more or less all the same too!)

First, I don't get why whenever Yunho looks "pissed" it *has* to be because he's jealous of Jae. I swear, this has become something like a trend, in the jaeho fandom ._. And if I see the line "Yunho looks so protective of his wifey" once again, I'm going to lose it and throw a hissy fit at the fantard. FOR FUCK'S SAKE MOST OF THE TIME YUNHO ISN'T EVEN *LOOKING* AT JAE SO STOP BEING DELUSIONARY IDIOTS AND PLEASE STOP CALLING JAE "WIFEY" TOO! D=<

Sometimes I think this is just a bad, bad dream and when I'll wake up I'll find myself in a jaeho fandom where people have at least a slight idea of how Yunho is (possessive and scary WHERE?!) and don't mistake Jae for a woman ALL THE FUCKING TIME.

I'm curious to know what you guys think about this =/ And I was also wondering, have you ever felt drawn to other pairings just because you couldn't stand the jaeho *fandom* anymore? (the fandom, I mean, not the pairing itself) And for those who don't like *jaeho* as a pairing, how much did the jaeho *fandom* affect your dislike for the pairing?

Almost no content to this post, but... the Kuroshitsuji anime site is now open! It will be broadcast on all MBS/TBS networks from October, with production handled by A-1 Pictures, which means the rumours on 2ch were spot on. Oh, otaku. You are both awesome and scary.

DA-DA-DA-DAAAAAA! I have completed the layout image. I couldn't exactly ink, scan, and color my sketch and doing it on computer is too much work, so... now it's a collage! Hopefully the DOKKA~N! trading cards don't make it look too tacky. This'll be the "temporary" layout for now.


Unfortunately, layout block's a bitch. These days design standards are super-high, way beyond my reach.

Oh, yeah, the translations I mentioned earlier — I translated Tsukiyo no Mahou (Hazuki's image song), Ashita no Watashi (Hazuki's 2nd image song), and Daisuki na Ehon to Mama no Uta (Hana-chan's 2nd image song). A couple nights ago, I dreamed of a world a little like Toshokan Sensou, except that instead of protecting books, I was in a militaristic organization to protect sugary foods. So people were being oppressed from eating sugary foods, like the situation in Chocolate Underground. So... a crossover?

But some person-- I want to say he was Doujou from Toshokan Sensou-- was tagging along with me in the whole military deal, as well as a bunch of other random high school people. I don't remember if I knew them well or not. But at one point, we went to an airport and on our way out, we came across some kind of hijack attack on the parking lot. The hijackers had taken control of a huge vehicle and were planning to crash it and blow it up. A little girl was walking in the open parking lot and didn't notice the huge vehicle coming at her at insane, uncontrolled speed... This was at nighttime too, so I don't know what a little girl was doing by herself like that. Doujou rushed up and brought the girl out of the way, but the vehicle crashed next to us and exploded, separating us from the rest of our military group. Then the group from the vehicle, who had survived, started chasing us, hunting us down. We escaped into some unknown house/motelish place. Then we found someone sleeping in another bedroom, and we ended up waking her up accidentally. We were discussing about the fact that we were in the sugar protection army, and that's when the alarm woke me up. o.O;

But thanks to my boredom, I actually read half of the book I bought yesterday!

Half of one of the books. Ok.

Well I bought 2 Japanese novels by Arikawa Hiro (有川浩), who also wrote the Toshokan Sensou series. One is her new book Rabu Kome Konjaku (ラブコメ今昔), which is a collection of 6 short "love comedy" stories, ie the hardcover book that is SGD30.70 that I talked about (this is like double the original price of 1400yen). The other one is the Kadokawa Bunko Summer 100 campaign re-release of Sora no Naka (空の中), the first in her self-defense force trilogy.

I must say, her writing style is very easy to read! Definitely like A LOT simpler than say, Saiunkoku Monogatari. Maybe because they are short stories that it's easier to read? I don't know. And plus it's honestly very engaging. Haha. Wouldn't be strange if it was really turned into TV dorama. Got that feel.

Well anyway because now I have the confidence to finish this two books I don't regret spending the money! Haha.

It's been a busy week. I went to see Speed Racer, which was fabulous! Like having 10 mugs of caffeine in a row! This is the first time in years that a movie has surprised me with its awesomeness. It was just so shiny.

...I also bought Pokemon Diamond for the DS. Can I say it? Can I say The Words?

MY POKEMANS. LET ME SHOW YOU THEM.

I suspect the reasoning behind my buying it is that I'm surrounded by Pokemon merchandise almost constantly and children are always talking to me about which ones they like. The clincher was when kurayamihimitsu mentioned she had it too.

Actually, I used to be a big Pokemon fan -- it's where I first heard Miki Shin'ichirou and Koyasu Takehito. I lost interest when they introduced too many new Pokemon though.

Anyway, I also went to the annual Bon Odori near my apartment (see picture). Fantastic, as always. Obon has always felt very special to me and I love joining in the dances. This year, I danced behind an elderly man who showed me the right moves. He took a picture of kuroe and I afterwards -- I suppose we were a novelty.

In the evening, we rented Sweeney Todd and had a two-person singalong with the English subs. Anyone want to join us next time for a bizarre karaoke, alcohol and random cosplay event?

Fandom stuff...

Everyone's talking about Hetalia Axis Powers. Not sure if it's more of a 'whoa, trainwreck' or something else. I'd never heard of until recently, but there were some good seiyuu on the drama CD -- Sugiyama Noriaki was Britain.

Going to be putting out a a call for people who want to join a Velvet Under World RPG soon, so let me know if you'd like to get in there first and get a character.

Sook showed me this at fangirl's party yesterday, and I'm still pretty amazed.

My comp. This is what happened to it. It couldn't switch on, so sent it for maintenance. The ppl there check for three days and can't find anything wrong with it (they can switch it on), then called to say it might be a problem with the adaptor. So brought the adaptor to check. Then obviously, it can't switch on. They change it back to their adaptor. Still can't switch on. So they kept it for further testing. End of story.

So then the conclusion is. My comp is still not back.

I dread the times when DBSK performs something new. I think I'm going to skip reading the comments next time round.

The whole point of a performance is not about criticising and looking at their vocals. (Not that you shouldn't look at it, noticing mistakes just comes naturally to a fan who listened to DoushiKimi 100000X.) It is about appreciating what they have delivered and be proud of their success.

Why should off-notes be the only thing that people commented on?

What got my attention for Horie Kazuma? Noa in KIBA, which of course had Yocchin in it.

I forgot to say before, as Tani explained to me, the title actually translates "Next-door Neighbors You and I Play Hide and Seek", which is quite long and clumsy in English, so we just left it as is. The Japanese sounds much nicer. XD

I really love the way ROCCA integrates little bits of unexpected humour into her stories~ This part features Yuuri searching for Conrad in a saucepan. :D Please read and enjoy!

Don't mind me. I'm having issues. Randomly. Well it's rare seeing big seiyuu icons posts. *defends self* No prize for guessing who made me have issues though. Honestly, seiyuu magazines have better photographers than JE mags. And that is so sad can? The worst effect that came out of this is that now the futsuota that tells Mamegu to stop telling Youkyan to shave because him hige are sensors is somehow replaying in my brain. SORRY THE ONLY THING I CAN THINK OF LOOKING AT PICTURES OF YOUKYAN WITH SLIGHTLY LESS HIGE THAN NOW IS THIS. LOLX. But relax, I only laugh at ppls I likes. And I'm in a good mood because I just listened to Nishiura Housoushitsu Enchousen (Oofuri's 3rd? DJCD) last night. One of the letters was from this person who decided to aim to become a seiyuu because of watching Oofuri that wrote in to ask them about something good that came out of being a seiyuu, and Youkyan starts talking about how tough it is being a seiyuu instead. Then I can't stop thinking about my once module-mate who wants to be a seiyuu too. I wonder if she will succeed. Hmm.

I'm in a dilemma.

I want to buy books. But said books add up to SGD46.30 (ok SGD41.67 after 10% off) and plus they are genuine JAPANESE novels which I cannot see the day when I will finish the books.

Said books are the new book ラブコメ今昔 and the Summer 100 Kadokawa Bunko reprint of 空の中 by Arikawa Hiro (ie... the author of Toshokan Sensou xD). Btw the bunko reprint book is half the price of her new book. Why must her sales be so good that she got sent to the hardcover side Dx It's so much more ex. The woes of students with no jobs.

And well apparently there are ppl who ordered 図書館革命 (ie the last book of the Toshokan series that wasn't in the anime) from Kino. Can see in their catalogue. They can give up their book *nod* I can buy it up for them.
