Newbie Here! With questions! ^^
Hi everyone! ^^

I've discovered Cluster Edge very recently and have fallen in love with this anime! Great characters, fascinating story ans settings, and hints of shônen ai!! ^_____^ My favorite pairing so far (ep9) is Agato x Beryl, but I have a fondness for Chalce x Hema (x Vespia (?) Complicated threesome ^^;;)

I have a question for all of you (no, ok, 2 questions, in fact, but...): how many episodes of Cluster Edge are there? On some websites, I've seen only 12 listed, but the official website and this LJ mention that there are more (23 at least?). Does it means the serie is longer than I thought at first (^_____^), or is there a second season? (...Would it be the Cluster Gakuen mentionned in some posts in this community, or is it something totally different?)

Oh, and... I'm desperate for some fansites about Cluster Edge, but I can't find any *cries* Do you have any Cluster Edge links for me? Anything would do, fansites, fanarts, fanfics... ^^

I hope these questions haven't been asked before, I searched the archives but didn't find answers. ^^

I'm not completely in the know, but I haven't found any Cluster Edge fansites either, and all the anime weblogs I've seen didn't seem to like the series much!
12 episodes are currently fansubbed (by AnimeYuki), but Japan (by the official site) is up to 23. I *think* it's all one "season" of the show, because I can't find any indication otherwise, but then I'm just going by layout and news since I can't read kanji!
(spoiler-FREE: About the three eps you haven't seen, we pretend episode 10 doesn't exist. It's made up purely of clips from past episodes and is literally just a recap episode, unlike episode 7, which did have some new footage if not really any new story worth an entire episode! Episodes 11 and 12 are good though, I think, though I have a friend who didn't like them, and thought they were very similar to each other and ep 9. But I don't think so...)
New Type had an interview with the cast in a recent issue- I think it was the March 2006, though possibly it was the February 2006. I'll try and hunt it out, I think I have it somewhere. I don't have a scanner, but I can take a digital photo and upload it! If it's still knocking around, that is, it might've got mixed up with my "to recycle" paper pile >_<

(Oh- and I agree with you about pairings!)

Thaaaanks!! ^____^ I'm so happy to know that there are more episodes than I thought!! (though the recaps are... -.-;; Why put so much? <---has watched ep10 and will follow your advice lol) I hope they will fansub more episodes. ^^

I wish there were english fansites (my knowledge of kanjis isn't good either. -.-) Most of the reviews on general websites were not really good when the writers had only seen the first episode. But there were more positive opinions when people had watched at least until episode 4.

Thanks for the Newtype article but don't worry ^^ Was it a two pages article with photo of the actors? If it is, it has just been posted on this community (the post just before mine ^^).

(Yay!! ^^ They are the pairings that seem the most 'official' right now! ^____^)

Cluster Edge: 25 episodes planned, still airing in Japan. I'd like to believe they'll make a second season but I don't think so ^^U

Cluster Gakuen: Internet radio show hosted by the 4 voice actors who play the main parts in Cluster Edge

Fansites... there are fansites in Japanese, somebody linked to some in a past entry on this comm (check the archives)

Ah! And Vespia's name is Vesuvia (Anime Yuki made a mistake XD)

Is Cluster Gakuen a serie as well, following the scenario of the TV show, or is it just general talking about the serie? (...Argh, and it must be entirely in Japanese, ne?)

I just found the entry you're talking about. ^^ I still have troubles to navigate in the Japanese websites, so I'm gonna use a translating website.

Thanks for the real spelling of Vesuvia's name. I wanted to check the different symbols that were associated with each of the gems corresponding to the names of the characters, and couldn't find Vespia. ^^; I understand why... lol

	The official site is great; it has the sections names in English, and the characters' names in English as well as kanji. It'll be a shame if it isn't picked up for a second season. One excuse for the recap episodes would be if the series was going to be very long, ne? And the article I was talking about was the one already posted >_<; (Reply to this)(Thread)

Hmmm... It could be a good explanation, yeah. ^^ Or maybe they have to put recaps? Is it a tradition in japanese anime? (Wolf's rain also had 4 recap episodes in a row in the middle of the serie, and they were not really needed.)

What I like about the first recap, though, is that we get to have the views of a character on what is happening. ^^ And I liked the way Hema described Agate as the wind. ^^
