| About: | "One drunken night down the pub, a couple of friends sat together complaining about the fact that there wasn't a decent club night in Cambridge that would play their favourite music. So they decided to set up their own and invite all their friends and music loving chums, both the ones they knew and those they were yet to meet." And thus The Octaine Conspiracy was born! Its 'as-long-as-we-can-keep-doing-it' Goal: To play tunes that count, to play tunes that rock and to play tunes that you most likely haven't heard before. To give people a chance to play what they wanted to hear and to open up DJing to any who want to give it a shot. To deliver constantly changing mix that you wont hear anywhere else and to give a club free of genre dogma or cultural boundaries rules. To boldly go where no club night has gone before!! Headed by The Three Wise Monkeys: the resident DJ's Ozzy, Taff, and Raggedyman. Featuring The Guest DJ's: a carefully picked cadre of anyone who wants a set. Promoted by The Pimp Ninja Legion: an elite group of stealth advertisers who know no fear. Assisted by The Random Field Agents: always willing to try and convert anyone to the path of Octaine. Attended each month by The Conspirators: people who just want to hear good music And regularly propped up by The Kick Out Regulars: Anyone who we can drag in off the street.
