According to the rules of LiveJournal, we as moderators must check dates of birth on the user pages of those requesting to join. We do check. This can make the process a little longer-winded than usual, but we like to think it's worth it. Patience is a virtue, and there are so few virtues left to us at Club Dominion.
NB: When we receive a request to join Club Dominion, we first check your User Info Page to see if you state your date of birth or age. If this provides the confirmation we need that you are over 18, then we approve your request immediately. If the information is not on your User Info Page, then we either drop a comment in a recent post on your LJ or email you via LJ's messaging service. club_dominion are inspired by the film of Constantine, not the Hellblazer comic-books. We go off-canon, early and often. The film and its characters do not belong to us. We make no money from this venture. Everything on this journal is NC-17 rated and extremely dark. The stories feature sex, violence, rape and theology. If this is likely to offend you, please step away. There are plenty of Constantine slash sites that feature consenting sex between characters - this just isn't one of them.
