VM promo contest
By now, you've seen the fabulous Comic-Con promo that has wowed fans far and wide with its ability to fully encapsulate what we find awesome about Veronica Mars. It's the sort of thing you want to make everyone you know watch to get them hooked, the sort of thing that you wish they would actually air on television.

There's just one problem. It's too. Damn. Long. That's where you come in.

Can you make a promo that is just as representative of the show, that is just as exciting to a non-viewer, that is...under 90 seconds? How about under 60 seconds?

Are you up to the challenge?

Contest Rules:

This is a contest, but we have not determined the prize yet. And there may be more than one winner. We would love to buy the winner(s) something snazzy, but we spent all our money on DVDs. There will be banner, of course, and we will play the winning promo(s) on our website. We will also do our best to spread the winning video(s) all over the internet. Beyond that, you may have to be happy with fame and glory.

All entries will be uploaded to You Tube. You can either upload your entry and link to it the comments of this post or you can upload it to one of the many file sharing sites and we will upload it to YT for you. There is no rule against cross-posting vids in other communities.

All entries must be received by September 1st. You must be a member of cloud_watchers to vote for your favorite video, so if you haven't joined the community yet, join now. (If you do not have an LJ account, you can email your submission to looktotheskies@gmail.com.)

If the CW ever goes ahead with their contest for fan-created promos, VM vidders will be ready!
