"Indicted Chicago businessman Antoin "Tony" Rezko was a more significant fundraiser for presidential candidate Barack Obama's earlier political campaigns than previously known. Rezko raised as much as $250,000 for the first three offices Obama sought, the senator told the Tribune on Friday.

Obama also said for the first time that his private real estate transactions with Rezko involved repeated lapses of judgment."

  keith olbermann on msnbc just interviewed Obama, he said he never heard wright make racist comments, sure!! ;)

  Okay. I'm not a believer in judging politicians by their skeeziest supporters, but when you base an entire candidacy on accusing a woman of strength, character, and brilliance of being politics as usual...you'd damned well better not be politics as usual. Or at least pick people who aren't actually going to go and get indicted, for Christssake. Now this is around our necks in November no matter who wins the primary.
