Dancing Dogs! Training videos!
Just this week I learned about the phenomenon of dancing with dogs. (Here is a book on it, although I don't know if it recommends positive reinforcement training or not.)

Today a friend emailed me this video of a dog and its human dancing. It is amazing! The dog looks so happy and excited. What a cool idea for a dog sport!

I also discovered that Karen Pryor is now marketing online training videos called Click Flicks. They cost about $5 each, and cover a huge range of topics from teaching your dog to lie down through training a service dog or a llama. There are a handfull of free videos, too, including one of rabbit tricks and one on teaching your dog to fetch a drink from the refrigerator.

Freestyling ("dancing with dogs") is very clicker-friendly. I think the last of the 2006 clicker expo in RI the world champion (or some such) came from bulgaria to show his routine.

There are 3 main competition organizations in freestyle: WCFO www.worldcaninefreestyle.org/; CFF www.canine-freestyle.org/; and MDSA www.musicaldogsport.org/; The clip that you showed is Carolyn Scott and her dog Rookie (Carolyn is the founder of MDSA). If you want to see a real tear-jerker: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TlKTYyjDwnI (as far as I know, Rookie is still alive, but is retired now.) All the freestyle trainers I know, world-wide, are positive trainers, most are clicker trainers.

That's so cool! I'd love to see more freestyle videos.
