Thoughts.....
I'm thinking of turning this community into something similar to Project 365
There would be no more themes....
It would be cool if you could post a picture everyday...BUT, realistically, I know we all have lives so you CAN play catch up and post however many that you are behind. All I ask is that if you are posting more than one picture, that you would put it behind a lj-cut.
Talk to me!! What do you think??

I posted these in my journal a couple days ago too, so you may have seen them already. But I'm excited that the school year is over, and I have more time to spend among trees, with my camera. So I'll probably be posting here more frequently :-) I hope all of you will too!!

Fall trees, finally!
There are sooooo many gorgeous picturesque places out here, but unfortunately not a good place to stop and take pictures of said places. (I can't exactly stop in the middle of the freeway and roll down my window to take pics...) I took my nephew and niece to the park today after school, and these are the fall pictures I've got....for now....I really am going to find a place to take some of the gorgeous shots I've been eyeing.

IDEA FOR THEME #4
I know it can be kinda sad that fall is here, leaves changing, etc,
but I think this would be cool:
for the next two weeks, let's all take pictures of trees.
when we post our pictures, it would be neat if we included the date/time and location of where the picture was taken.
then we could all see how the season is progressing in each others' corners of the world.

I'm really sorry that I have been slacking!! Please forgive me!

Ok, I'm not sure why the pics aren't opening, but I hope it's not because I copied the links from my photo/writing blog at blogger. I'm just going to link to that blog and hopefully you can see the photos in there. There are only five entries in there - I meant to use it as a creative dumping ground but I rarely did until now, so it's not that exciting....but you can at least see all the insect pictures I tried to post yesterday:

Jellyfish at the Long Beach acquarium - I like how it looks like they're in outer space because of the white flecks of random sea stuff on the black background!
