who are we?
So, you're wondering about us Slytherclaws, eh? Well, let me take a moment to enlighten you. A Slytherclaw is a mix between a Slytherin and a Ravenclaw. Slytherins are known for their cunning, ambition, determination, and subtlety. And Ravenclaws are known for their wit, willingness to learn, and want to learn. A Slytherclaw is not one you want to trifle with. We know our stuff, and don't have to lift the finger it takes to type something into Google. We ARE Google. We know what we want, and we know exactly how we're going to get it, and it's hard for anything to get in our way. You may consider us the masterminds of the hybrid world if that helps paint the picture best. We have the logical outlook, creativity, intelligence, and determination to achieve our tasks. Lord Voldemort and Severus Snape would be our "canon" Slytherclaws, if hybrid houses had existed in canon. But they didn't, such a shame.
common room rules
1) Once you have been accepted into the common room, please go to this post, copy the welcome form and post it in an F-Locked entry in the community.
2) No flaming any of your fellow house mates. It's not cool and no one appreciates it. Anyone caught flaming another member or harassing another member will be warned ONCE and if they don't stop, they will be expelled and banned from the community.
3) Swearing is allowed and friendly debates are encouraged. Just remember that this is a semi-public forum and even the mods (who swear a LOT) get annoyed when every second word you type is "fuck." It's not just YOUR sandbox, it's everyone's sandbox. Play (relatively) nice.
4) When posting a picture or large survey, PUT IT UNDER AN LJ-CUT. Big pictures mess up the layout. If you don't know how to do an LJ-cut, please consult the LJ FAQ post. If a large picture is not put under a cut, you will receive a warning. If, after 24 hours, it's still not cut, the HoH will delete the post.
5) We encourage drunk!posts. They're funny and drunk people are awesome. Drunk Post away, kiddies.
6) If there is any drama within the common room, it will be dealt with by your Head of House and Prefect. If the Head of House and Prefect need any assistance, they may contact the HM or DHM.
7) Memes, surveys and all that other stuff is both awesome AND welcome. Just remember that if it's really long, put it under a cut.
