This community hasn't been regularly active in quite some time, so I'll try to stir up some community. What do you think of Clay's new album, On My Way Here? I wasn't too crazy about the album on the first listen, but now I like most of the songs a lot.

I think I still prefer Measure of a Man, though. Maybe it's a bias since it was released when I loved Clay so much. I also haven't looked into all of the different bonus tracks based on where you buy it. I got mine on iTunes. Are there songs you can get elsewhere not included on that version?

Looks like there's not much activity going on in here... well, let's stir something up!

Clay Aiken donating his sperm to James Foster? James Foster pregnant with Clay's child? A 50yr old woman and a 30yr old man aren't romantically involved but are having a child together? Please, someone tell me this is the latest tabloid that cropped up. It's just too weird, especially for Clay who is conventional in all sorts of ways. I thought he'd be one AGAINST artificial insemination! If you want to argue that he's getting old and wants to settle down, well I'm sure old-fashioned Clayton would want to MARRY first and then have kids!... artificially inseminated or not.

Ugh this is so weird!... If this is the latest tabloid, I gotta give them kudos for crocking up the biggest load of BS ever. But I'm sure Clay's getting a kick out of it.

Ooh, I would like to comment on a remark John Paulus made about this: "I wish them all the best and hope that I can be a godfather to the baby."

Oh screw you, John Paulus... no one likes you.

Okay, so... I'm currently listening to ATDW for the first time, and so far... I'm having a really hard time listening to the CD, because all of the "S" sounds (and other soft sounds) are coming out very "hissy" or static-y, like either I'm playing it way too loud (which I'm not), or Clay was right up in the microphone while recording. It's making the sound quality of the album appear horrible. Is this just because I'm listening to it through my DVD player & mono TV player (my stereo's broken), or did I get a defective copy or something? When I listen to it through my Discman later, will it sound a lot better, or is this just how the album sounds? :-/ I really hope it's not supposed to sound like this... it's distracting me from Clay's voice :-/

i LOVE clays new cd, lovelovelove it. i just wish he put out something original. this is his 3rd cd, and only one without covers :/ at least he put one new song on there!

Alright so anyone who's having problems or waited out the problem with the Kmart download...good news -- it's been fixed!

Hi guys. YAY! It's fixed!

DownloadCard guy is totally awesome, and was really interested in helping us out today!!! He was so nice, and as relieved as I was, when it worked! It seems the problem is just technology....over a thousand of us tried to get the file, and about a hundred had problems. *shrug*

They slowed the timing of the steps down a little bit, waved their magic web-programmer wands (heh) and he and I walked through the process again, live. VOILA!!!!! Fixed!

So here's the deal.

If you tried to download and succeeded, you are a lucky beeyotch, and w00t!!!!! for you! *g*

If you tried to download and failed, and e-mailed Amy@downloadcard.com, then they will respond to your email by this time tomorrow, giving you a new PIN number! [Yes, Amy got the message, even if you got the bounce-back failure to deliver e-mail].

If you tried to download and failed, but didn't e-mail Amy - GO DO SO! They will respond via-email with a new PIN.

Once you get a new PIN (or for those of you who haven't tried yours yet)...

* - In Internet Explorer (Firefox does NOT work) go to the link on your KMart card, fill out the info, and click submit.

- Once you click on the download button on the next screen, a small window should pop up. It will be white for a few seconds, and then it will show a small picture of the CD with a "thank you for downloading" message.

- Windows Media Player will pop open, and the song should begin downloading / playing.

- At the bottom of the Media Player window, text should be alternating "Track 1" and "Album Unknown" etc. Right-click on that text and select File / Save As and save it on your hard drive someplace.

If you still have problems, send an email to amy@downloadcard.com. They will fix it.

Guess that means it's my turn to go out and get my second copy! :)

K-Mart bonus track

I tried downloading If You Don't Know Me By Now (I disabled pop-ups and everything) from the website but when I clicked on the link, a blank white window popped up. So I clicked on it again and it says that I already downloaded the file! I tried to send an e-mail to the address provided (I've tried four times now) but it keeps getting sent back to me. I'm really frustrated because I drove out of my way to a K-Mart so I could get the bonus track and now I don't even have it (and I paid more than I would've at another place).

Does anyone have it? Or have a solution for me so that I can get mine? Thanks.
