classic_100 is an icon community where we challenge you to make 100 icons of your favourite classic movie, actor or actress. Classic meaning any thing between the dawn of the pictures (1900's) and the 1960's. Anything not in that time period won't be accepted. This is purely classic only! 50 of the icons must use the themes given, but the other 50 are your free choice.

1.It can be any movie, movie star or Tv show from the time period between 1900 and 1960. Anything else is not allowed. This is a classic community afterall!
2.Make sure it's something that has alot of available pictures, or you can get screencaps from. The goal here is to make 100 icons, and nothing short of that! If you desperately need help, I might be to some service. :)

1.Icons can be made anyway you like, but are generally 100x100 in size. Animation is allowed, just not too many for those with dial-up!
2.Please post at least 5 icons at a time just so we don't end up with people only posting one icon every day or something. Feel free to post more, though!
3.When posting icons, generally it's best to use a table to display all the icons you've already made in. But make sure that part is behind an LJ cut! If you need help with a table, just ask me.
4.Banners and such displaying your choice are fine, and can be posted with each entry. Just don't make them too wide, because they'll stretch the layout.
5.All icons should be for public use, so other fans can come and use them. Please state your crediting policy in your posts.

New Rule:I am now imposing a time limit on icons due to inactivity of some members. You will have one month to post your first set of icons, and then 3 months in which to finish your claim. If you don't, your claim will be given away to someone else!

At the moment, I'm looking for a Mod or two to help me keep the community underhand. I probally won't need alot from you until the community gets some more members, but it's always good to have them handy! If you'd like to apply to be a Mod, please send me an email (Blackat81) or post a comment at my LJ, explaining why you'd be a good Mod and so forth.
