This is a fan community for the relationship between Jace Wayland and Clary Fray. They are at the core of The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. They are a beautiful pairing and that is what this community is about. In other words, WE SHIP THESE TWO and we want to post about them all day long, and welcome you to do the same. Fanvideos, graphics, fanfiction, and book discussion are encouraged, but there are no limits as to what you can post, as long as it is full of Clary/Jace love. | |

1. All posts must be related to Jace/Clary. Discussion of other characters and ships are allowed, but we are not a general Mortal Instruments community. Jace/Clary is our ship and we'd prefer that all discussions involve them in some shape or form. 2. The rule above applies to fanfiction and graphic posts as well. Jace/Clary must be the main ship of your fanfic; nobody wants to click on a fic and start reading it only to find that it's actually Clary/Simon. The same goes to graphics and fanvids. The other characters in the series are lovely, but we'd prefer if Jace and Clary were prominent in your work. :) 2. Any bashing of Jace/Clary is FORBIDDEN. Any posts or comments openly hating on the ship or the individual characters will be deleted without warning. This is a LOVE community, folks! 3. Member bashing will not be tolerated. Respect is very important in a community, because it can get very ugly without it. Listen to what your members have to say, and if you have a personal problem with someone, please contact one of the mods through LJ messaging. Remember that not everyone will have the same opinion as you; for example, we know there isn't a movie yet, but people do have visions of actors for the roles. Do not get into casting wars, please! This isn't the place! 4. Tags are fantastic; USE THEM. Please tag your posts with the appropriate subjects. It makes everything much more organized. You can find our current list of tags here. Contact a mod if you think a new one should be added. 5. Doubt It? Rate it. If you are questioning whether or not your fanfics or graphics are too steamy for minor eyes, flag it as such! Keep it clean, kids. :D 6. Do not link to locked posts. This goes for posts outside the community and inside the community. If a member chooses to lock a post with guarded content, it is meant to stay that way. 7. Regarding pictures: use them but use them sparingly. Teaser posts for fanmixes, icons, and other art must be no larger than 500px in width. Only 3-4 icon teasers should be outside of an LJ cut. Anything larger must be underneath one. :D Basically, if you think you'll stretch friend pages or the community layout, resize it or don't post it at all! 8. Likewise, please do not drastically alter the formatting of your entries. This includes font colour, size, and indenting. Please try to stick to the layout. We don't want to load the page to find lime green text and sparklefont. It'd be quite tragic. :( 9. Have fun. We don't want to be strict. Just help us out by following these rules, and all shall run smoothly. :D | |
