AboutThis is the unofficial LiveJournal community for current, past, and prospective students of Clark University. I created it during the summer of 2002 (the summer before my freshman year) out of sheer boredom. It's great that it's popular now. :)
Here's a little bit about me. My name is Janine Costanzo (![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
janinedog), and I'm the maintainer of this community. I graduated from Clark in June 2005. I hope that if you come across this community and go to Clark (or are thinking about going to Clark) that you'll join and say hello. It's also a great way for new students to meet people!
There are only a couple of rules here:
1. Don't spam. You can promote communities or events that relate to Clark or areas around Clark (if you feel Clarkies would be interested in them), but nothing else is allowed. Posts that break this rule will be deleted, and depending on the case, the poster may be banned from the community.
2. Be nice (or at least civil) to each other. This is obviously subjective. I can't define it, nor do I intend to. However, that does mean that I'm trusting you all to use common sense here. I think I'm pretty lenient, and I hope that you'll respect that by not abusing it. If you break this rule (as determined by me), you will be warned (most likely via a reply to your comment/entry). If you do it again, you will be banned and removed from the community.
3. Stay on topic. Basically, try to make your posts here somewhat related to Clark, Worcester, Boston, Massachusetts, college-related stuff, topics that Clarkies tend to be interested in, or similar. I'm going to be quite lenient with this rule, as it's pretty hard to define it. Pretty much all of the posts here are on-topic anyway, so it's not much of a problem. I won't be banning anyone for off-topic posts unless they post them regularly; however, I will probably comment to them saying they're off-topic and give the poster 24 hours to delete them (after which I'll delete them myself). If you feel an entry is off-topic and I haven't commented to it yet, feel free to email me about it. It will be at my discretion, though.
