| About: |  Welcome to ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} claim_corrs, the only claiming community on LJ devoted entirely to the Irish band The Corrs. As far as I know. This community operates much like the many other claiming communities out there. You claim something, and then bask in the reflected glory that ownership brings. If you're new to the sensation, relish in it! It is much fun. Like most communities, claim_corrs has some rules to ensure the smooth running of the community. They're nothing unusual, but make sure you read them.1. You must be a member to claim something. 2. Be polite. This means no flame wars, and no posting purely to bash The Corrs. Your post will be deleted ASAP anyway, so don't even bother. 3. Each member may have a maximum of five claims. Anything you have already claimed remains yours forever unless you choose to give it up. You do not need to use up all five claims at once, but you can if you wish. 4. All claims must be related to The Corrs. 5. When posting to make a claim you must say "Mine, mine, mine" in the subject of your post. This is to ensure you have read the rules. If you do not do this, you will be politely instructed to read the rules. If you have been told by a moderator to read the rules, you must post again. If a regular member reminds you, edit the title before a mod sees it, quick! 6. Before you attempt to claim something, check out the claim list to ensure it isn't already claimed. Also check the latest entries to make sure someone hasn't claimed what you want since the latest list update (when a moderator updates the list, they will make a post to say so). 7. Don't claim anything that could be considered PG13+. Let's assume that The Corrs themselves have claimed those. 8. The moderator has the right to ban people if they deserve it, and to bold random words.  Suggestions For Claiming 1. If something you want has already claimed, you can still claim an aspect of it. Hypothetical situation 1: You wish to claim Andrea, but she has already been claimed. Yet you could claim her eyes, hair, voice etc. Nothing dirty, please. Hypothetical situation 2: You wish to claim the song So Young, but it has already been claimed. You can claim an aspect of the song, or a particular performance. For example, you might claim the violin solo, the video, the Lansdowne Road performance etc. 2. Be creative. Claiming aspects of things or random things (such as particular pieces of clothing) make the community much more interesting. Questions? Confused about something? Comment to this post.
