Ok, for all of you former drama members who still check Livejournals, this is for you!!!! On December 6th and 7th(Thats next Thursday and Friday), Alice in Wonderland will be performed by CLHS DRAMA CLUB!!!! This will be at 7 P.M. I hope you all can make it!

yes... the gagreel of THE MATCHMAKER dana and i have been working on is finally at my home, labeled, and ready to be laughed at. BUT there is a catch. there are only 10. joanna helped us burn these dvds (thank you my love) but her computer decided to take a lunch break on 5 of them. this means 4 people will not get one becuase there are 14 people in the cast of couse. it will be a first come, first save basis, or burn your own off somone else's. contact me in some way and we'll figure out a way to get you one!!!!!!!!!

For those of you who wanted to see me at the Matchmaker cast party, there will be a little shindig at my house tomorrow at 6PM. If you don't know where I live, you can give me a call (586-822-0087) and I'll give you directions. Bring movies, board games, munchies, anything you'd like to do. I can't believe it's over. After all that work and time put into it, it's over. Man, I'm going to miss it so much. Those few tears you saw from me weren't just pity tears either. My time as a director was one of best things I've done in life thus far. I've become attached to every single member of the cast in one way or another. The fact that it will never ever be like this again saddens me. Even through all the hardships, we made an incredible performance. People have been telling me how The Matchmaker was one of the best performances they have ever seen at CLHS, and I couldn't have done that without you guys.
Thank you all for truly accepting me as part of the drama club.
And also, thanks for the gift(s). I really appreciate it.

I write this entry with a tear in my eye. Today was my last performance at Center Line, and it was absolutely amazing. We pulled together last minute to deliver the performance of a lifetime, and we really pulled the audience in. In three years of theatre, I have never heard an audience with that much enthusiasm for a play. And yet I still cannot help but feel sad. As I was saying goodbye to the seniors before the play, I thought to myself, "Wow, these three amazing, wonderful, beautiful, colorful people may not ever perform with us again." It wasn't until after the performance that it hit me: I'm in the same position. I haven't yet picked which school I'll be attending next year, but I'm certain that it will not be Center Line. And of all the things I'll be leaving behind, the Drama Club has got to be the hardest to say goodbye to. In my three years at CL, I have poured my entire heart and soul into this club, and to just leave it behind...is like having a part of me die. And even though I'll be auditioning for another Drama Club, it won't ever be the same. I'll be friends with their casts, and maybe it'll even feel like family...but it won't be my family. They'll have their own memories and inside jokes...and I'll be like an in-law. I look back on my plays at CL, and I smile. So many good memories, and jokes, and sing alongs...I look forward to my plays elsewhere...and I don't know what is in store. But for next year's Drama Club...good luck. I hope you guys keep the spirit alive. Because if I come back to see a performance (which I will) and you guys are dulled down...I'll feel like it's my fault. And to this year's seniors...I'll miss you guys. I wish you all the best of luck in the future, and I hope the club has changed you all for the better. I hope the spirit of performing stays with you forever.
So goodbye to the Center Line Drama Club. I love you all so dearly.
Now let's get ready for a killer Cast Party!

I'm just writing to apologize for missing so much rehearsal, and not being really hip on my lines. I wish I could explain, but I can't. Not yet, at least. But I'm spending the next few days drilling myself on my lines, and I'm determined to get it all down pat.
Because I love the Drama Club.
