AboutThis community is for former members of the CiX BBS, that operated between 1989-1999 in Bangalore, India.
We were a pretty strange set of guys, and much of what we did and said then would be meaningless to most people today, being essentially pre-internet in nature.
So if you don't mind, I'd like to restrict membership and posting to actual original CiX members. I would like to give this unique community a bit of time for gathering, rediscovery and belonging for now, rather than rocking the boat by diluting the membership.
If you were a CiX member, please join. If your LJ user ID doesn't match your original CiX ID, send me and email after applying to join the community, telling me what your ID was on CiX, and what your LJ ID is. Even better, have another CiX member refer you to me.
