Gods, I think I need a vacation.

So, now that I've emerged from underneath a mountain of papers (no, it's not actually that bad - just feels like it some days), have I missed anything? Zack blow anything up I haven't heard about yet?

I've made a conclusion.

Real food is REALLY GOOD.

Does anyone have duct tape?

Heidegger's mouth appears to be leaking.

Alright, as it looks like absolutely nothing is happening today - Turks, you have the afternoon off. Mostly so I can have some peace and quiet to get through the mountain of paperwork on my desk. Just leave your PHSes on in case things change.

HEY BOSS

I'm certain that some of us in the investigation division would reaaa~lly love it if you could poke the higher-ups and see if you can score tickets to Loveless, huh?

... At least, I wanna see it! Cita might poke my eye out for suggesting this, though. But all work no play makes my coworkers a homicidal bunch. And this play's usually booked solid, I know, but come on, we gotta have some strings we can pull, right?

Right?

Way too damn early to be up. Get a call in the morning blaring some crap about some anti-christ in the sectors. Got no details, nothing but ten minutes to get dressed and on a train out there. Cant say if it's Avalance or people are back in the sectors with the most Wutai living in them again. Either way, ShinRa felt that our guards and a handful of lower SOLDIER weren't enough so they gotta send in me.

Bah. Honestly they aren't divvys. They know what they are doing.

Seph, you get a call? Jeez I just want to know this isn't them fucking with me again and sending me to a bar brawl to piss me off.

Aeris? Lock your doors and windows for me if you haven't. It'd make me feel better.

Kid? If you aren't already shuffling around somewhere in this city or have gotten my call and are playing oblviouse again I need you to get up and come down there with me. Well, you don't need to I'd just like the company and like a place where I can keep an eye on you and know you're safe, too.

...it's been too quiet in the labs lately. Those damn techs are plotting something, I can feel it.

Hmm. It's shaping up to be a slow week at work - not that I can really complain, it means less trouble for me.

Any one care to join me at the firing range after work? Tony at the gunshop down in Sector 5 let me borrow a few new items to give them a try, and I could use the company, and I suspect some of you could use the practice.

... Why is it that we always eat ramen at HQ after a job?

Not that my stomach can't handle it, of course. I have a robust and powerful stomach! I was just wondering if, you know, if it's some sort of long-standing tradition. Since I think I've just had ramen ten times within the last week.

huh. Anyone seen Cloud? He didn't come back for dinner. Hope he knows Aeris made it this time, not me. All well. His loss. Mmmm...apple crisp.

Seph you didn't lose him in the brackets did you? God, hope he didn't go out into the city alone. Hell knows what sorta creeps are out at this hour.

Who's up for a game of Rummy?

Journals! How fun.

I expect I'll get adjusted to them quickly.

And it'll be something to do, in between jobs and sitting around disassembling and reassembling my shotgun. Not that I'm bored. I am never bored!

... It's just that, there's not a lot of big game to hunt in our fair city. Technic'ly. Not if I don't want to get arrested for it.

Oh, joy, company journals. Now I can be antisocial interact with my wonderful coworkers online AND in real life.

And to the lab techs: Substituting apple juice for urine samples was funny ONCE. Way back in med school when I some students pulled it on the prof.

Seem to be some other folk here, so I thought I'd post this right up front.

Journals, hmm? I'm not sure if this is brilliant or the stupidest thing I've seen in a while. I suppose time will tell...I can definately see how it would have it's uses, though.
