WELCOME TO DESAI [ DESAI ] A super-city that is connected worlds abroad. 75 years ago, its citizens learned the science behind interdimensional travel, and put the world into a cultural and technological revolution beyond imagination. The allure of a people so intelligent and seemingly so open with their knowledge proved to be enough to bring people from other worlds to Desai, to live and become a part of the largest melting pot in possibly many universes. However, some off-worlders choose to stay beyond just the intrigue of this massive city... and that's the danger it is believed to pose. Today, the Travel Agency is a massive complex sporting monorail upgrades for travels to and from safe worlds. It has its own shopping area, one-night hotel, and even houses the MDEA newscasting station to keep citizens up to date about off-world events that may affect them. It is the starting point for any off-worlder coming to visit, who will be greeted by the glamorous Center-City upon first arrival. [ THE GAME ] Desai is run off of three very important concepts: (01) Gameplay is done based on player preference. Action/comment spams; logs; IC chats/emails; assumption--as long as everyone agrees to the means, you're okay. (02) This is an "open-world" game. Considering the length of time that Desai has been actively accessing and allying with worlds, it's not a far stretch for a character--if such a thing is IC for them--to say they've visited the world of another. Infomodding is monitored, but it's true! And characters can visit home whenever they want--trust me, there's plenty to keep them in Desai. (03) This game is a player driven culture.
