P R E M I S E Welcome to Cross City, NJ No, you have not been magically transported to a city in the middle of nowhere. No, you are not locked within the city limits. This is not a post-apocalyptic world. You have not been horribly compromised to come here. The only thing you've given up was most likely the money that plane ticket cost you. It is present day, present year Earth on the continent of North America and currently Barak Obama is in office. That's right. City of Cross is a reality-based game. The character you choose to take up has been born on this lovely planet we call home and has done just like everybody else on this planet to get by. Their choice to come to Cross City was their own and they get to choose if they wish to live within bustling city limits or rest in the quiet suburbs of Parallel. Maybe your character has chosen to come to the city because of its rich culture? Cross City has the largest number of imports from just about anywhere in the world. Perhaps it is the world-renowned Cross university they have come to attend. Job opportunities are everywhere. Wish for something more dark? Mafia families, crime organizations, drug-traffickers and killers could be your next-door neighbor. Anything is possible. This is a reality based city where reality based situations can happen. By no means does your character have to stay within the city perpetually. Yes, they must live there, but a little vacationing never hurt anyone. Want to have a romantic getaway in Paris? Go ahead. Want to see the Espada in Walt Disney world? Have fun, and bring back a couple souvenirs for us! Wish to have Edward and Alphonse take a small stay in Europe to study the history of alchemy? It's fine with us. The sky is the limit. We hope that you enjoy your stay. | |||||||
