1. City Trends is a prompt community, sort of like ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} we_are_cities or fcuktypos, only completely different. There will be prompts, there will be fics, and there will probably be lots of laughter and sometimes tears, though those will hopefully stem from the laughter.2. Prompts. There aren't going to be any set days that prompts are posted, mostly because things like this can't be forced. Most day I get online and listen to a new song or see an amazing photograph and it makes me want to post a prompt. Other days, life is pretty boring. So I'll post things when I can and maybe even drag some of my friends in on it to help out whenever they want. 3. Posting. These prompts are here for anyone to use. You don't have to join the community or watch the community or worship the community or feed the community vegan burgers. But if you decide to use one of the prompts, one of the questions you'll probably ask will be, "Do I have to post what I write here?" The answer is no. If you want to, please, feel free! I'd love to have fics posted here. That'd be awesome. But don't feel like you have to. But, it would be really great if you could link back to the prompt you used. Also, there is no format that you have to use when posting fic. Just do it how you like, but make sure you post warnings. 4. On the note of writing. Some prompt communities are for certain types of writing - slash, bandom, original fiction, etc. If one of the prompts here makes you want to write original fiction, go for it. If one of the prompts makes you want to write bandom fics, go for it. Hell, if one of the prompts makes you want to write High School Musical, be my guest. Zac Efron is actually great in fics with, oh, let's say Spencer Smith, who is a Slave Master and likes to - er, nevermind. Moving on. 5. Tags. Each prompt will be tagged by the date it was posted. When posting a fic, please tag it with the date of the prompt you used, that way things will be more organized and easier to find in the future. 6. Rules. There are basically no rules, okay? No bashing, link back to the prompts you use, and that's it. Have fun. |

I read a lot of Chuck Palahniuk books and my favorite TV show is NCIS. I play video games a lot and wear converse and band t-shirts and I don't care what my hair looks like. I like to put sprinkles and gummi bears on my ice cream and I love thunderstorms. I carry around a little notebook with me wherever I go in case I get an idea for some fic. I listen to Fall Out Boy a lot. Like, a lot. I like to talk to people, but I'm shy, so sometimes ambushing me is the best way to do it. My AIM SN is just like fading. I'm online a lot, so if you wanna chat about something - a prompt, or writing, or if you just need a beta and no one is online - then go for it and talk to me, I'd love that.
