Hey guys, if you haven't done so recently (like, yesterday), go check out the cox_ljfc community and tell me what you think. The new banner by uziel_twentyone is up and I've redesigned the page to make use of it.

Like some other LJ members, Tuesdays are double plus ungood for me to make it to Fight Night (as it's one of the VGs I belong to team up night, and since I'm one of the leaders it kind of behooves me to be there).

Would there be any interest in a Wednesday fight night, say 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, so we're not in the same week as the Tuesday match ups?

Usually the first rule of Fight Club is you don't talk about Fight Club! But last nights get together on test was so much fun! Even if I got to eat loads of dirt during round two. Didn't realize MM's were so squishy!

Since I have a memory like swiss cheese, I've created a flickr set with the screen caps I managed to get last night. Most of them are pre-fighting... so if you see your character lemme know and I'll edit the pic description.

Man... yeah, that ruled a whole lot.

i had no idea PvP could actually be FUN. and MAN it was awesome being able to play with all of ya. I did far far better with my tank than i believed i would. That first round was gruesome as i got stuck in a war of attrition with nemesis_divina's tank... which, i eventually lost. But the second round! i came back SWINGIN!

sadly, like most people, i was too busy trying to avoid having my butt handed to me in a sling to take many screenshots... until the third round, where i mapservered :( but... i did manage to get some great screenshots of the action that round. and boy howdy... action. there. was.

Another huge thumbs up for Test Server Fight Club. Will definitely be back.

Fight Night was TOTALLY FUN! even when my poor squishy Defender was getting ganged up on. I want a pic of that, btw, someone said they got one. :-P

As previous posts have already stated, tonight's LJPvP Fight Club was a HUGE success!

I didn't get many screenies of the combat (as I was trying too hard to either stay alive, or keep my team buffed - depending on the fight) but I got one good one of the madness that was the fight in Perez Park, plus a few group shots.

I just wanted to give a huuuuge thanks to everyone who came out tonight for LJ Fight Club on the Test server... we had a great turnout and some incredibly fun battles in the arena. I'll be posting some screenies and scheduling for the next Fight Night, but I just wanted to post this now to say thanks to everyone who made it such a success. Even the ones who repeatedly stomped my poor corruptor into the pavement, the swamp, the side of buildings (I'm lookin' at you Liz... =D) and whatever else happened to be around to stomp me into.

So to those who fought, Thanks! Hope to see you again! For those who couldn't make it, hope next time you can come have fun with us!

If you couldn't make it out for the first one, I recommend making it out for the next one. I got to meet Raye Gunn, Black n Blue Sue, and made awesome friends with (not remembering names well) Themis and LibertyCrusader, and Naienko (spelling?). Check it out!
