I was wondering if anyone remembered a Costume Contest that was held as part of celebration of a supergroup in Triumph?
I'm asking because I'm writing a personal writing essay for my English class. We have to write about an incident in our life and I chose this one because I thought it would be fun, the only problem I don't really remember the detail's (not great when it comes to long-term memory) and it does have to be pretty accurate.
Can you please tell me the name of the supergroup, the name of the judges and what day and month it was held as well too.
I was playing my Cat-Girl Scrapper Sakura Varjak that day (small, wears purple and black gothy type clothes and has pigtails) if that helps to jog people's memories.
Can you please help everyone.

1) Is there any point to slotting more than one knockback protection global? My troller was getting tossed all over the place by the witches in the Katie Hannon TF. Is one KB global enough? If not, would two be enough? And even if slotted into a buff power, the globals don't affect allies, right?

2) Increase Density doesn't seem to be doing very much when I apply it. I think it was in the Synapse TF I tried to free some teammates from the electric cage thingies that the clocks applied, and ID appeared to do nothing. And in the Katie Hannon TF, I asked if anyone noticed ID helping [ETA] with knockback/knockdown (oh, alessar points out that Gale has a HUGE magnitude) [/ETA], and no one piped up. So, what is ID good for, except maybe unstunning people who have just popped wakies?

3) I am in a SG that now finally has a whole bunch of porter pads, but is still missing many. I'm hoping to find another SG willing to coalition with us and mutually adjusting pads to get better coverage. But I don't want the other SG to be able to access any of our enhancement or inspiration collections. Is there a permissions setting that I need to set to prevent that, or is such access impossible in the first place? We have raids turned off, so that's not a concern. Are there other considerations to be aware of?

After reading naeko's stirring prose in a recent thread, the chaotic otaku triad now has not one, not two, but three baby fire controllers on Freedom: Rat-Ear Firestarter (@Itland, /kin); Elf-Ear Firestarter (@Swiss Army Wife, /rad) & Cateared Firestarter (@Quiet Assistant, /kin). We just managed to get our raptor packs before we all got to level 10. Even though we are still babies, it is utterly crazy. Wherever we go, things go "snap, crackle, pop". (Except when we ran into a paladin building site and failed to char the Tesla in time. That hurt.) Apart from the Tesla, our main enemy is our endurance bars. Currently two of us use Fire Cages and one Hot Feet ... there is not enough endurance for both. I foresee a lot of blue IOs in our future, if any. For that purpose, we'll probably be chasing Hellions and CoT to finance the upcoming crafting, as I have no high-level character on that server to twink us.

On a related note, there wouldn't happen to be any LJ SG on Freedom already, right?

League of Disgruntled Gentlemen Caolition Offer

Hi all. Last night in LJ chat, a few people mentioned the lack of teleporters a few of their supergroups on Liberty have.

Well, The League of Disgruntled Gentlemen has teleporters to all of the city zones (minus Galaxy, because really, who actually goes there?), plus the Hollows, Perez Park, Boomtown, Striga, Dark Astoria and the RWZ. Since one of our founding members recently left the game, there's only 5 or 6 of us using the base now. I can't help but think that's a bit of a waste. So, if anyone would like their Liberty supergroup to have free access to our teleporters, just let me know and we can set up a coalition.

(As an aside, if you have any freelance heroes who are looking for a low-requirement group, let me know. We may have a spot for you. We only ask you play in SG mode until 25 to help pay the rent.)

Hi Guys -- I was wondering if someone might be able to help me set up a coalition between the League of Livejournal and Good For Goodness Sake (the Christmas elf supergroup) on Virtue. Hopefully such a thing is possible, and not against LoLJ charters.

Was wondering if anyone here on Guardian server, would be willing to coalition with my SG, The Guardians of Light. It was started with my husband and a good friend last year. We have a few members now, but nothing extremely large. We do, however, have a good sized base, and nearly all tp pads, med bay, worktables and bins..etc..

We have a couple coalitions now, but all but 1 seems dead. Was wondering if anyone here;

1. Has a nice active fun group and wouldnt mind coalating with us

2. Need an SG, and are active and want to help us get further off the ground.

Recently on Virtue, the Paladins of the Night (night_paladins) coalitioned with the new Legion of Livejournal (which has yet to be formally posted about, hint hint). This brings up the question, are there any other extant LiveJournal-origin supergroups on Virtue we should also be coalitioned with?

I'm a long time player who recently took a break. Now that my husband and I are back to playing we had a question. Both of us have separate SG's. They are for us and our alts ONLY. Now that we're back to playing we wanted to try out the whole SG base thing and more importantly we wanted to give each other access to visit each others base. We've started a coalition last night and that worked out fine, but when we went to the base portals it said we didn't have permission to enter the other persons base.

Any advice on how I could change that? I've gone through the appropriate tags on this community as well as read the base guides on the official forum. But all of that is how to BUILD the base, I can practice that on the test server. I just need help with how to allow my coalition to come into my base.

Also, are there any other guides to SG Bases other than the couple of guides on the forum? Any special websites dedicated to SG bases and/or Base help? Thanks again

I haven't been able to follow up with this as I would like, because the recent Global Chat troubles have made it problematic to try soliciting membership for the Heroes Pentagon Coalition on Infinity live on the LJ Chat channel.

However, if anyone in this community is interested in joining, anyone wishing to join their AT-appropriate hero to Tank Division (Tankers), Remote Control (Controllers), or Blast Radius (Blasters) can contact me using my global handle @Sol-Prime to arrange for membership registration. My main concern is getting just enough registered members to take the weight of recruiting off my shoulders. :)

Also: quasadu, look for me tonight online. I'd like to get any hero toons you can spare registered and promoted to 1st rank status in all the Pentagon SGs. It just makes sense to get the same administration going on both Heroes and Villains sides, even if membership won't necessarily explode for the Pentagon as it did for the Pentacle. :)

Not to let the villains outdo us in organization and planning, the heroes of the Infinity server are now forming the Pentagon! The first SG formed for the coalition is Best Defense, a Defender SG. Leaders are encouraged to step forward for other AT SGs in the Infinity shard in order to stand up to the rising threat from villains.

Others interested in joining Best Defense can contact Agent Tenebrous (or globally at @ansetsuken) for an invite and permission to recruit more to the SG.

Perhaps we should move Pentagon/Pentacle global activities to @Pent?
