(Hi folks. First-time poster here. Is the lack of activity due to those who've forsaken the Rogue Isles in favor of Millennium City? Say it ain't so! Well, whether Villain, Hero, or Champion, I hope you enjoy my little story. Appx. 584 words, PG-13 rating.)
Like their fighting, their lovemaking was intense and explosive. The heat between them was nuclear, their nerves electric, and the humming energy of the world seemed powered by their lust. She thought they would burn right through the floor and become a molten pool of toxin.
When it was over and the containment chamber smoldered from the energy exchange, they dozed in the red glow of the flashing radiation hazard lights. In this specific moment and no other, they almost felt what normal must be like. Almost. This wasn’t just the ancient ritual of man and woman, but the awesome union of goddess and god; a temporary truce between evil and good, and the perfect, fragile balance of chaos and order.

I have been posting my "City Of" fics lately over at the forums of Last Bastion because so many of them have been collaborative or continuing or including chatlogs and such. But this one should stand alone on its own well enough!

My stalker on Freedom, Nyx Phobos, has been getting herself into all kinds of trouble. Dealing with heroes, what kind of a hobby is that for a demoness?
Because the story is so big it had to be posted in two parts, and because it's horror inspired by the works of novelist Edward Lee and therefore contains gooshy grossness, I once again figured it's best to not clog the community with the epic.

Despite the WeGame logos front and back, this is not what I'm entering into the contest, because I found out after slapping the last 2 minutes' video on the song that the deadline had been extended to Christmas Eve! Woo hoo!
Now, I get to learn how to use Adobe Premiere, so I can put the video together properly, with the storyboard laid out before I start pulling it all together.
This was done mostly with 5 characters across 4 servers, and most of the female characters seen are alternate costumes of the lvl 30+ character playing "Holly Day".

I want to enter a Holiday Video Contest
So, because binds using < in them are borked, I have to figure out another way to get emotes done on cue.
- I could map them out and send them to somebody else, and record them doing my emotes (on cue).
- I could bind them to have me doing the emotes and change the camera angle so that it's face-on.
- I could totally change what I was going to do to something else.
I'm going to do a combination of 2 and 3.
I'm going to map out 30 emotes that I'll be using for my video, using the 10-key (regular, shift and alt), and I'm going to map out what I need when (and for how long) as a timeline for the music I'm going to use (I love Audacity).
I hope I can get this done by start of business Monday. |
