circusacts(at)livejournal.com; hello, and welcome to circusacts! it is a graphics journal run by demi. here you will find everything from layouts and backgrounds to icons and userinfo codes. graphics focus on a variety of subjects, spanning from models and bands to anime and actors. (suggestions are always welcome!) as far as rules go, there are only a few. however, choosing not to follow them is probably a bad idea ;). 01. credit anything you take! whether this be icons, layouts, etc. if you choose to say, customize a layout's color or something, you must still credit unless otherwise stated by the poster. the only thing that doesn't require credit is background images/patterns. 02. you must comment and say what you're taking t use! again, it doesn't matter if it's a layout, icons, or what. just comment the post telling the poster you're going to use them. this is very simple, but a lot of people don't know how to follow this rule. 03. icons that do not contain text are not "bases." see also: they're not there for you to edit them in any way. 04. layouts and userinfo codes, for the most part, will be customizeable unless otherwise stated. you can fiddle with the colors, fonts, add a banner, i don't care. credit is still a must though. 05. the tags are there for a reason, take advantage of them :). 06. keep the drama out, thanks. 07. if you have a question about something, comment the specific post. if it doesn't relate to something specific, feel free to pm demi. circusacts is currently accepting affiliates. the list is located here. to become an affiliate, simply comment the post. if there's any questions or anything, contact alli via private message or through aim - map her bones. |
