Then send the book onto the next person to let them add their flair! We're developing an ONLINE Circle Journal Group! If your interested and want more information, then join this community!! Check it out!Circle Journal Forum Think of a circle journal as round-robin style community scrapbook: a group of friends passes around a series of albums, with each person creating a layout or page in each book. Then mail it on to the next person. I'll arrange the participants for handing off the journals, I'll then decide the dates when the journals should change hands and I'll also set specifications regarding album size etc. Each member will choose a theme to add to each book with enough blank space for each sccrapper to craft a one or two page layout. The Album's owner then embellishes the cover according to his/her own theme and creates an introduction page that explains the topic and what they hope each member will communicate in the album. Just for starters, sometimes there is a index page listing each participating member and their names, whereabouts, dates and a photograph of themselves. Once the albums are ready to go, each member mails her journal to the next person in the circle. Upon receipt, a member completes a layout based on the theme of that book and then mails it to the next person in the circle on a certain date, usually about a month later. After the last layout is completed, the book is mailed back to the original owner and everyone will have done a layout in eachothers circle journals. The result is an album filled with variations on each theme and an array of scrapping styles and ideas. Sounds like Fun Doesn't It?!? Some ideas we can try to get started....
