Is this a movie that I should give a chance and watch? From the sypnosis it doesn't sound like my normal cup of movie tea, but I have been surprised before. I was curious as to how most of my fellow fans felt about it.

Cillian Murphy as Dr. Jonathan Crane

I am sure that this has been posted before - probably several times in fact, but I'm in need of some help.

I watched Batman Begins again last night and had forgotten just how incredibly attractive Cillian is in that film. And the fact that Dr. Crane is one of - if not my - favourite villain of all time it pleased my greatly that Mr. Murphy did such a fantastic portrayal of him. Watching the film inspired me to make an icon of him from that film just as I had done 3 years ago. There's only one problem: I wanted to use the same picture as I used then, only I can't find it for the life of me. That's what I'm hoping all of you can help me with. If you know of a link directly to the photo, or if you have it saved on your computer would you please be willing to upload it for me? I've looked everywhere and I just can't find it.

The photo is an early promotional still if I remember correctly. I recall thinking it was actually a screen capture taken from the film because it looked so similar to a scene I remember but it was in fact a promo shot. It looked like it was taken during this scene in the film:

The camera that took the photo was roughly knee high looking up at him as he was smiling standing on the ledge as Katie Holmes ran to the elevator.

I hope that's an accurate enough description, and I hope someone can lend me a hand! I'm starting to get desperate.

P.S. Squee: I saw Sunshine on Monday, and while it wasn't perfect, it the visuals and audio were mind-blowing, the action was gripping, and I could look at Cillian's eyes and freckled arms all the day long. Mmmm...

Perrier's Bounty

So, I just checked my e-mail and I'd received this, and when I went to INTANDEM Films.com I saw that it's been confirmed (and by "confirmed" I mean that there's an actual article at a legitimate site and not just the random fantasy of some fan), at least over that way:

Cillian Murphy is poised to star in a $9.4m dark comedy “Perrier’s Bounty”, scripted by Mark O’Rowe and directed by Ian Fitzgibbon. A co-production between Stephen Woodley and Elizebeth Karlsen’s Number 9 Films and Allen Moloney’s Parallel. The film will shoot in spring of 2008.

This film's IMDb page has it listed for 2007, but there aren't any actors involved-- which is probably why it's been pushed back to starting filming in 2008. IMDb usually runs a bit behind anyway, and as far as I know this has just broken out ~~JUST NOW~~. Okay, so it was 22 May.

Anyway. I'm excited. More info on the people involved over at uCillian.com, as well as the rest of the photoshoot (and the full-size of this one) from which the photo below came. Good times.
