So, due to the overwhelming response to my last post (was it something I said?) I thought I’d inflict yet *another* favourite story on you all.......……Cider with Bodie where we find Bodie as a sexy, ‘darkly handsome’ and enigmatic stranger, seducing the captivated Doyle (again and again…). All this plus lazy, sunny afternoons, sex and haystacks and the gentle, flowing writing of the author. What more does a slash fan need on a cold, snowy, Easter Monday?

OMG! You picked one of my absolute favourites. I lovelovelovelove this story. It alternates between sadness and sweetness (but without rolling into schmaltz), with humour dotted in and around. I love the way Lizzie writes; her Bodie and Doyle are the way I see them, and this one is no exception. You do find yourself drawn into those hazy summer days and I can almost taste the cider and smell the hay.

This is a wonderful, wonderful story! I love Lizzie's AUs. They're usually pretty darned hot and her settings are always so intriguing.

You said it all in your comment, also the commenters before. I also love all of Lizzies AU's they fit perfectly in my fancying stories set in those time around the beginning of the century or a bit earlier. Brilliant very sexy writing, breathtaking.

This one has always been on my short list. Aside the fact that's it's downright sexy, I can truly see my Bodie and Doyle in this AU.
