Chuck vs Comic Con 2008
Comic-Con: Tentative Panel Schedule for 'Battlestar Galactica,' 'Lost,' and More

The San Diego Comic-Con has been a TV fan talking point for years now. Come each summer, our favorite TV show creators and TV stars gather in panels to answer fan questions, discuss behind the scenes goings on and, most excitingly, give sneak peeks of their new seasons. Also making appearances are those with brand new shows they want us to watch and love -- like new genre offerings from such famous talents as Joss Whedon and J.J. Abrams.

This year's Comic-Con is only a few weeks away and Kristin over at E! Online has the tentative panel schedule. With a potential actor strike looming and with the otherwise unpredictable nature of those in the business of show, nothing is set in stone, but it looks like the creators behind all of our favorite hit shows will be making appearances -- and letting slip the juicy advance news we all crave.

Chuck will be on Saturday, July 26 from 3:30 – 4:30pm. It's in between Pushing Daisies and Fringe, so I guess that's a good thing.

You can see the whole schedule here.

Hi guys, this weekend past I attended Serenity: Complete a Firefly/BSG convention. I have some photos of the actors (Adam from Chuck) and a short report posted over at my LJ.

To view the report/images click here. (Please leave any comments in that entry - I like to keep them together *g*)

Hi! I finally managed to get my pictures together from the PaleyFest panel on Tuesday. I'm a little camera happy. So they're all here, if you want to check them out. It was a fun night. :)

Photos from Chuck's PaleyFest
Don't get too excited. They're pretty bad, but I did also include photos of the t-shirts they were throwing into the crowd.

PaleyFest!
Seems like there were quite a few of us there -- so awesome to be around all the great Chuck fans. We'll have to do a watch party or something for the premiere now.

Anyways, in addition to the other ones posted, here's my write-up. I'll try and get my crappy pictures posted later.

Adam Baldwin convention appearence
I just thought I'd post this, in case anyone would like to check it out. I found out yesterday that Adam Baldwin is going to be at Shore Leave. It's a fan run convention in Baltimore, Maryland and this year it is going to be held July 11th - 13th. I went last year, and it was a lot of fun and very well run.

Here's a link to the website, if you'd like more information.

PaleyFest08: Chuck Panel
PaleyFest 08: An Evening with Chuck
Tuesday, March 18, 2008 7:00 PM PDT
at Cinerama Dome at ArcLight Cinemas

In Person: Adam Baldwin (“John Casey”), Chris Fedak (Executive Producer), Joshua Gomez (“Morgan Grimes”), Scott Krinsky (“Jeff”), Sarah Lancaster (“Ellie Bartowski”), Mark Christopher Lawrence (“Big Mike”), Zachary Levi (“Chuck Bartowski”), Julie Ling (“Anna”), McG (Executive Producer), Ryan McPartlin (“Captain Awesome”), Vik Sahay (“Lester”), Josh Schwartz (Executive Producer), and Yvonne Strahovski (“Sarah Walker”).

Tickets are now on sale to the general public, they are $45. You probably want to buy them sooner than later. The panels for the Buffy reunion and Pushing Daisies are already SOLD OUT.

I'm still debating whether or not to go. Also, I created [info]paleyfest08 for people to share their experiences from the festival. To answer [info]sleepall_day's question, "do you think it'd be worth checking out?": I've read other people's accounts from previous years and seen panel videos from Battlestar Galactica and Supernatural. All of which were fun and informative. If I wasn't broke and have to take (un-paid) time off from my job to attend, I'd buy tickets in a heartbeat.

Television festival
A whole bunch of folks from the cast of Chuck is going to be at the Paley Center Television Festival this March! For those of you in LA area, do you think it'd be worth checking out? It's going to be on March 18th. I think it's just going to be a panel, Q&A type stuff, no meet and greets or anything, but yeah, here is the press release with the list of people who are going to be there. (Hahha. I love how they said "Captain Awesome" instead of "Devon.")

PS. If anybody from this comm is interested in going, maybe we should talk! I may go, I may not.

EXCLUSIVE CHUCK COMIC-CON VIDEO!

TV.com has realeased 2 videos of "Chuck" at Comic-Con, the video's are hilarious. They can be streamed straight off the TV.com website here.

While you are there and if you are a TV.com member, be sure to give "Chuck" a 10/10 rating, the rating has fallen dramatically overnight.

This is my first post on this community (infact on LiveJournal) I hope i've done it right :)

Chuck panel photos!
Right. So I have 24 mb worth of photos, and I really would like to put them into a gallery, but I don't have the resources to do that. Here is a .zip of all 128 photos, hosted on MediaFire [LINK UPDATED]. It includes photos of the entire panel: cast members Joshua Gomez, Yvonne Strahovski, & Zachary Levi; producer/director of the pilot McG; producer/writer Chris Fedak; & producer/writer Josh Schwartz.

Of course, I realize that not everybody is going to be able to download a 24-mb file, so here are 17 thumbnailed photos of the panel under the cut. )

Feel free to yoink these, re-host & re-post them, icon them, whatever!

Just a little different
I was at CC this weekend and loved the pilot, but I thought everyone should know about this change. )

I will say however, that Zachary was really sad to hear it was cut when I was in line for autographs.

My other ride is Zachary Levi.
So, last Wednesday I commented to [info]canadian_turtle in a thread in an Adam Baldwin community that I would be attempting to attend the Chuck panel at Comic Con. Which I did! And got a far better seat than I expected, so, yay!

I took a ton of pictures, but most are on my cousin's laptop, so until I can get my copies of those and figure out how to post them all, here's a teaser image. )
