Sometimes when a pilot episode is filmed, the producers feel that a character or actress isn't working so they replace them with someone else. From what I heard she was originally a neighbor of Chuck AND Morgan(they were origianlly roommates), and Chuck had a big crush on her. For some reason, they decided to get rid of the character and bring in Ellie.

Yeah I remember seeing a pic of this chick before the show aired and thinking =/. So glad shes not on the show. The same thing happened on Ugly Betty. There's this random dude in a promo and I never knew who he was.

Those promo pics must've been shot before they finished the final cut of the pilot. I guess she was just some character they decided not worth keeping in the show. I wonder if they released the pictures before they decided to cut her out, and just forgot about it?
