Funeral Dress

Completely by chance, I think I've found Chuck's funeral dress! It's by INC International Concepts, their Crochet Overlay Dress, which retails for $149.00.

I realize the dress looks tan and not gold, but according to the website it's actually gold. The crochet design matches up perfectly, as does the neck detailing and the waist! It looks like they might have taken in the dress at the shoulders a bit, to make it rest above, rather than below, Anna's collarbone.

Besides her gorgeous dresses, I think the key to Chuck's outfits are her accesories! Hats, purses, earrings, glasses, scarves: All of them seem very stylised 50s vintage ones.

Here are some items that look like something Chuck would wear (these haven't been seen on the show. I just think they look Chuck-ish):

This looks like something Chuck would totally carry off with aplomb.

I was perusing eBay and someone listed these two skirts (1 and 2 ) as something from the classic wardrobe of Charlotte (chuck) on the TV show "Pushing Daisies"!" Definitely agree with her, they're gorgeous!

So, due to an overwhelming outcry to make chuck_chic available to all, and my increasingly busy schedule, I have converted this journal to a community! Posts will be moderated, and there will be a few rules to follow:

1. Posts must include a picture of the dress you are trying to emulate. A great resource is the Pushing-Daisies.com gallery, with screenshots of every episode.

2. If you have three or more "copy dresses", please place them under a cut, so as not to spam our f-lists.

3. Make sure to include links and pictures of each of the copy dresses.

We once again have a lovely dress of Chuck's, pictured here.

Our first option is pretty and flowy, and has a similar neckline, but the print is a bit different.

Yes, you've watched every episode of Pushing Daisies, and yes, you've pined over Chuck and Ned's love and gasped at every twist and turn-but admit it, the entire time you were wondering where you could get all of Chuck's wardrobe!
