the bahai don't see something like murder as the worst trespass, no, pride is... Pride leads to feelings of superiority almost always eventually in group think, which leads to dehumanization and so forth causing just about all of the horrible, multitudinous suffering, murder, oppression, imperialism, wars, etc... well, since the beginning until now unless we can make a paradigm shift and become as one, really one, different fruits but on the same tree, one whole country, no more land disputes and fighting over who owns what because the weapons at this point are just going to kill most of our ignorant, arses. Yes, disarm globally. Ya, I hear the laughing we never learn. How long has the US been told about all the different problems with gas and what did our entitled arses do when it was a dollar and change buy h u g e suvs and trucks we didn't need...I mean some of these are ridiculous, more than ridiculous... Well, if there is anyone left maybe they will learn...

If you have been looking for a website to help you harness your strategic voting impulses, here it is:
http://www.voteforenvironment.ca/
The page contrasts 2 election outcomes:
If we split our votes/If we vote smart:
Cons... 130 / 75 Libs... 83 / 123 NDP.... 41 / 52 Green... 0 / 1 Bloc... 52 / 55 IND... 2 / 2
You can view your riding to see the results from the last election as well as all current industry polling results & a recommendation as to how you could cast your vote to prevent vote splitting or a conservative victory. This is particularly important in the swing ridings the webpage highlights.
The site has received over half a million pageviews already & counting. Please take a moment to view the site & spread the word.

we had a great bday yesterday. went out to chuy's for dinner, then had home made cake (made by me :) and ice cream. good times.
today im making chilli yum yum. and doing some more cleaning.
that's about it. onward thru the fog and all that.

Now that Palin-McCain are inciting violence against Barack Obama, shouldn’t the Secret Service block John McCain from attending tonight’s town-hall debate?

Loads of health-related "stuff" has been going on. I've been fighting a migraine for two weeks, but this past weekend was the worst of it. Then I managed to pick up a stomach flu virus some where. Needless to say, I'm not feeling so well. Just came home from the doctor who told me to get into bed and stay there for the very least next 24 hours. Yuck.
Another big thing... apparently I'm extremely iron deficient. So bad that starting on Thursday I need to go in for 4 weekly iron IV infusions. The first one is 2 hours long and Steve is coming with me. Then the next three are about an hour long each. The doctor said I should feel a difference right away.
I also apparently have large quantities of mercury in my blood. I'm doing more testing on that soon.
Those 18 vials of blood that was drawn at the Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Center in Denver were well worth it.
Back to bed.

Inspired by a friend's post (waves at ellipser), I am in a nostalgic mood today and decided to make the attempt to catch up with old friends. I will probably regret it, because in the long run, it's all about the self-sabotage, but oh well, I can't keep on living in fear of being who I am.
