I hate being teased with christmas anything haha. It was clearly my fault tho. Perpetualkid.com was having a 70% warehouse clearance sale and they had a few things that were christmas related. I bought two things, a computer christmas decoration and a things we must do for the holidays notepad. I know thats not really alot or sounds appealing but it was just enough to spark my christmas mood.
Well, I recieved the items in the mail yesterday and had to put them away in the holiday boxes under my bed(live in a apt, no space) and i sat there and looked thru all the christmas things i have. I don't have alot, but i know for sure year after year after year it will get bigger and bigger as long as my husband allows it haha.
I can't wait, its just to long...5 months is far away!! lol

Hello all! I'm really missing Christmas right now, I want it to be the Holiday season so badly!
While I'm here I don't think I ever introduced myself when I started posting. My name is Marissa, I'm 20, I go to school in Boston, and I am obsessed with Christmas (obviously, or why would I be here :) ) My friends all think I'm crazy but I know everyone here understands!
Anyway, for those who didn't join the Better Homes 100 Days of Holidays emails last year, I thought I'd share that they're having a Christmas in July special, so I'm getting all these great e-mails about Christmas crafts early!
Here's the link to their Holiday section.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

I just wanted to let everyone know who doesn't that right now until midnight (I believe) HSN (Home Shopping Network) is airing their yearly Christmas In July shopping special. I am watching right now and this not only is getting me excited for The QVC Christmas In July shopping special (which should air July 25th) but, also for Christmas (and the holidays) in general. ♥
I know this has probably been asked at some point before, but I was curious. What are some of your favorite foods/drinks that you only have (or mostly only have) around Christmas?
For me...
- those $1 boxes of chocolate covered cherries from Walmart
- homemade candy, like chocolate covered peanut butter balls
- red velvet cake
- eggnog
- apple cider (I do drink this other than Christmas, but not during the summer usually)
That's about all I can think of right now.

Hi, I'm not sure if I have proberly introduced myself yet, although I've been a part of this group for over a year. My name is Robyn, I'm 16 years old and I'm a Christma-holic. :) I love Christmas for every single part of it, the snow, the twinkling lights...that warm jumble up lovely feeling. Its all to perfect. Infact, I wrote an english assignment about what makes Christmas so great. I'd post it, only its on a removable hard drive and of course, my very irrespoinsible friend has that so who knows when I will get back...*sigh*, anyways, just thought I'd say hello. :)
And the closet I got to Hallmark today was Starbucks...darn it!
Hallmark Ornament Premiere. Wish I could go this week end.

So I was in the seasonal section of my local Walmart earlier today and I noticed they'd put the Back-To-School stuff out. I know from past years, that NEXT to go in that section will be HALLOWEEN, and along with that, a few CHRISTMAS things!
I've seen Christmas items out in a few stores as soon as late September. This year has gone by fast! Just a little under 3 months and we'll probably start seeing the first signs of Christmas in stores! SO CLOSE.

Hello, all.(:
I have a little 4-foot prelit tree that I keep up in my room all year round. But recently, the lights on the entire bottom half went out.): I checked the fuses, and they're all fine, so I assume it's just a broken bulb. I do not, however, wish to go through and test every single bulb until I find the right one. Lazy, I know.;D I don't think I'd mind much if it were a strand I could remove, but it's pretty much attached to the tree and makes it a little more difficult. Now, I'm not sure but I figure I should ask-- does anybody know any easier way to do this that doesn't involve taking up so much of my life and time? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hey everyone, and Happy first day of Summer!
I'm in a bit of an autumn mood myself, so I spent the day baking a pumpkin pie and some pumpkin bread. It's the first time I've ever successfully made my own pie crust!
Now I'm watching The Santa Clause.
Is anyone else doing all fall/winter related activities today?

I was just bouncing around websites, and it looks like the Hallmark movie channel is doing Christmas movies every week end evening in July again. Unfortunately I do not get that channel here in Canada, but thought it would be of interest to those who can get it. :)

Hey Christmas lovers!
Well I must admit that I'm loving my summer vacation! I really do love warm weather but seriously...
IS ANYONE ELSE GETTING PUMPED THAT WE'RE ALMOST TO THE HALFWAY POINT?
Although I live in Phoenix where we don't have seasons, I'm looking forward to weekend trips up to the mountains to see fall and for my bi-annual trips home for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I watched the Hershey's Kisses commercial just now and man does it ever bring a smile to my face!

What are some of your favorite Christmas themed episodes from regular tv shows (not one-time programs)?
Mine are "A Very Supernatural Christmas" from the show Supernatural, "Amends" from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and an old favorite - the Saved by the Bell Christmas episode.

Just a couple of days ago I went to Bath & Body Works and saw their semi annual sale was coming up .So I remembered that Christmas in July is coming up . How exciting!!!! Anyyways I always try to organize myself to have things to do after Thanksgiving and thru out the month of December . For example a evening with the family with hot chocolate and sweet bread-or --on another day go for a ride at night to see homes Christmas decorations ---or ---Christmas movie night etc....etc....So Im wondering what do you all usually do thru out these weeks? to make it feel more Christmasy and enjoy the time before the Big Christmas Day...
So has anyone noticed how there have been an unusually high amount of Christmas special TV shows on TV lately? I'm watching Robot Chicken right now and it's all Christmas and lately I've been seeing other shows that are Christmas themed. What is that about? Not that I'm complaining but I'm just curious as to why they're showing them NOW?!
BTW, I really miss the Christmas season. I'm ready for it to come around again already! Hehe.
