In a recent OP about the differences between the East and West, mintogrubb asked that we speak about our respective heritages. Well, I don't consider myself Orthodox, Catholic or Protestant, but this week I am enjoying a matter that I hope all of the Lord's disciples would see is their heritage and inheritance.

In digesting the scriptures with other believers this week, I'm enjoying that the central thought 1 Peter and of the entire Scriptures is life and building--the means and goal of salvation in the Triune God.
