so i live in boston now, and i just got an apartment in downtown burbank in los angeles. my cousin and i are sharing and she has moved in already.
she sent me a text tonite that said "omg omg chris daughtry is shooting a music video outside of our apartment right now!"

NOT FAIR!! i move in on friday the 22nd...why couldnt they wait til then :(

Has anybody bought the Daughtry VIP experience for one of his shows?

If so, was it worth the money paid for it???

I'm debating if I want to get a package for Indy next weekend. $136 is alot of cash to drop.

part 3 of my daughtry experience: THE sweetest, kick@$$ gig to hit Manila in years!!!!

The past few days, the weather has been iffy. Rain showers here and there. So days before the concert, I had been praying for good weather. It was so cloudy this afternoon and I kept on praying for clear skies, at least just for tonight.

Timecheck: 7pm - So far so good. Concert starts in an hour.

730pm. People are trickling in. I'm hoping for a good turnout, especially since this is the first concert for the boys in Manila. Heck, I want to give them enough reason to come back!!!

Looks like the show will start at 9pm. That's good. I'm sure the central plaza will be filled up by then. No front act. Yes! I wasn't really looking forward to watching contestants from Pinoy Idol. (Sorry, not much talent there.)

It's a little past 9. Place is packed with roughly 4-5 thousand people. YAY!!! I see silhouettes walk out onto the stage.

As if the feeling of having someone from the band ASK for the package I gave them didn't send me into a fever

….lining up for an up close and personal meet & greet was sending shocks to my system!!!!!

AND THIS WAS BEFORE the concert…

glad I took a powernap to charge me up for the evening!!

I was blanking out with so many thoughts racing through my head

– what to do, what to say…[believe me, I've been writing those questions down, days leading toward the concert date.. haha!! With a bit of rehearsal too… hahaha!!!] yeaaaaaah!!! Another chance for a photo op!!

note: we weren't allowed to use our cameras during the cd signing so having a photo op with an "official photographer" was great!!

I actually didn't have any clue as to what exactly would happen. Being part of the last group which was great, in a way, because we weren't rushed that much, though the organizers were still trying to keep things on a schedule.

hi everyone, just wanted to share my daughtry experience. it's my second time to watch them, 3.5 months after they played with bon jovi at the mgm grand arena in las vegas. i flew to vegas from manila just to see 2 of my ultimate favorite bands play at one venue!!! this second experience was sooo much better... read on.. :)

It’s just hitting me now as I play the stripped down video version of All These Lives. I am almost in tears recalling the events of an evening that was COMPLETELY and ENTIRELY AMAZING!!!

Back in April, I had the chance to see Daughtry and Bon Jovi, currently two of the biggest names in rock, perform at one venue outside of my home country. It was an opportunity of a lifetime as these were the top bands on my wish-to-see-and-rock-out-live list. You can imagine my surprise and delight when I found out that Daughtry was bringing their music to Manila!!!

I have held my breath since then…

Geri Halliwell danced to Spice Girls hit ‘Wannabe’ with American Idol reject Chris Daughtry at this week’s Glamour Awards.

Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Melanie Brown picked up their best band award at the London ceremony on Tuesday, but both Victoria Beckham and Melanie Chisholm were absent.

Halliwell admitted she was close to being left alone on the dancefloor when the DJ played the group’s first big single.

“They played ‘Wannabe’ and I got left alone on the dancefloor like a wallflower,” she told the Daily Mail.

“Fortunately someone from American Idol - Chris Daughtry - danced with me, thank God! So I wasn’t left alone during our song.”

Daughtry was an Idol contestant in 2006 and has since launched a music career independently.

I noticed on Daughtry's website, there are alot of people where they have their pic with Chris.

Does anybody have any suggestions on a good way to get to meet and get a picture with him? I'd really just like to meet him and thank him for the great music he puts out.

It would be great to meet Jon Bon Jovi too. hehe

Hi everyone! I just joined the community. I've been a big fan of Chris Daughtry since Season 5 of American Idol.

I'm going to see Bon Jovi and Daughtry this Thursday down in Nashville, TN. This will be my first time seeing both in concert.
Then in August I'll be seeing Daughtry again at the Indiana State Fair up in Indianapolis, IN. In fact, I just got my ticket in the mail today.

So I just wanted to say hello to all the Daughtry fans on LJ!
