I'm doing my usual Saturday night routine and I'm about to sum up the courage to put the Procrit to action...AND THEN THIS BUG COMES SCURRYING ACROSS MY DESK SCARING THE POOP OUT OF ME.
I was hella panicky and reached around for a cup I used yesterday to trap a spider and quickly place it over this....gray looking pincher bug looking like thing. UGH. WAY TO MAKE MY EVENING MORE DRAMATIC, LITTLE DOUCHEY BUG.
I'm going to let it feel awkward underneath my cup, ALL NIGHT. And then I'm going to punish it by letting my mom smoosh it tomorrow morning. BUGS SUCK.
3:10 to Yuma was a really good movie. Too bad more people haven't gotten a chance to see it.

like david duchovney and eva house staring in their very own slasher series called Holla-ween. but in all actuality, david duchovney is just an undercover DEA agent working with Red to get me into a jail cell. but it's okay, alex glendening was there to save the day, drive the getaway car and take me to a ted leo concert.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - An internal affairs report says a Daytona Beach police officer demanded free coffee and tea from a Starbucks and threatened employees with slower emergency response times if they refused.
Lt. Major Garvin, a 15-year veteran, was fired July 8. According to the Daytona Beach News-Journal, Chief Mike Chitwood says Garvin recently failed a polygraph test that he insisted on taking.
The coffeehouse's employees claim that since June 2007, Garvin had visited the store as many as six times a night while on duty. Besides demanding free drinks, workers complained that Garvin also cut in front of paying customers.

Jamie leaves tomorrow for London. He will be gone for study abroad and I was in denial about the whole thing up until today. I broke down at work today and started to cry. Its hard because for so long we have not went more than 24 hours without talking to each other and now I don't get to talk to him except through emails. *Sigh* Tomorrow morning is going to be really hard on me.... :-\ at least I go to work after i say bye... all day.. so I dont have to think about it until i get home :-(

Since graduation, a lot has happened but the biggest news is that I am quitting my job as a server because I am starting my CW job at Gryphon Place. For those that have stuck close you know what Gryphon is but if you don't, Gryphon Place is a local Kalamazoo county agency that answers suicide lines, CPS and APS calls, Community Mental Health lines, etc. A CW stands for crisis worker, this is different from my previous position at Gryphon Place because I was a volunteer before (for a year and a half), now I am an employee. My last day at Rykse's is Sept 3rd, my first week of graduate school. YAY!

So everytime I go to do laundry in my apartment complex there is always the same set of clothes in the laundry. As if for some reason one of my neighbors is doomed to constantly dry the same set of linens over and over again. It makes me wonder how this country will ever make the change it needs to move forward when people can't even manage the responsibility of removing their clothes from a community dryer.
It is quite disturbing to know that by adding a series of numbers together and getting a certain fraction there's a book that claims it can tell you intimate details of your personality. And the book nails your personality dead on. Good and bad. And lists famous people that also share this same number and presumebly the same personality. This is the three names that stuck out to me.
1. Bruce Springsteen (incredible!)
2. Charlie Chaplin (very cool)
3. O.J. Simpson (HOLY SHIT)

- I went out for a walk and I am incrediably sore. The twenty mile bike and the six or so miles of running have both decided to take their toll on me today. Oddly enough, it is my arms and not my legs that are sore.
