AboutVeteran owners, New owners, Potential owners, or even people just curious about the chinchilla are welcome to join us and discuss serious chinchilla related topics, care tips, stories, silliness, and even photos of your little ones! You don't have to own a chinchilla to love them.
We have to ask that you please not use this community to advertise your own communities unless you've asked first. Advertisements not related to chinchilla/pet goods, and negative pieces of propaganda are unwelcome. This includes any videos or reports on controversial topics, such as Peta, the fur trade or pelting. We are a positive community wanting to celebrate our wonderful little pets, so if you have a piece of news that might upset someone, please do not post it, as the moderators will delete it. Thank you!
We're excited to announce that following the opening of this community, we're all working hard to put together a good chinchilla FAQ for you new owners who wish your little ones came with an owner's manual. It'll take a little time, and the FAQ will be ever-growing and changing, so be sure to keep your eye on it!
A little info: Please understand that the only reason the creation of this community occured was because of the disappearance of the community owner. Nobody is laying any blame, we just wanted a place where we'd have a little more control over inappropriate behavior and contents. This is in no way the result of any sort of conflicts or splitting by the previous community. Just think of us as the same old community with a different name and look!
Should this community should ever become abandoned by it's mods in the future, myself included, please please contact me at: panda_xian @ yahoo . com so that new active mods can be assigned.
