So this was going to be the weekend of making awesome sock garters. I bought a bunch of lace and elastic and got to work. However, after trying on the first pair, I discovered I look awful in lacy socks. So, now that I'm done crying, these are for sale or trade.

They're a really nice quality lace, but the construction isn't perfect. They will fit a 12-18" knee/calf. I'd like $10 for them, or to trade for some random accessory. :3

i just realized i'd like to try to get a parasol before the 5/31 spring walk/picnic.  any locals have one they want to sell?  i'm fine with picking it up beforehand, or at the 5/31 meetup.  i would prefer: brand, black or black-and-white, and one of the kind that can be both parasol and umbrella.

I just got back from a very successful ACen and have organized all of my stuff and now I can do customs! Some people there said they were on LJ and lived in the Chicago area, so I thought I'd start out by posting here that I can now do custom headdresses! I'd rather see dresses in person if I'm to make matching accessories so what better way to start out my customs than with fellow Chicagolanders eh?

I'm based in Northern Chicago, and I'll be starting custom dresses for plus sized people as well. Starting simple and working my way up. I don't have any completed dresses displayed yet but I will very very soon (perhaps as soon as tonight!). My dress form sizes are:

Bust: 40"-46"
Waist: 37"-42"
Hip: 42"-48"

If you fall within these measurements and want custom stuff (once I have some examples of course) then let me know! And if you wanna meet up and see some of my stuff in person drop me a line and we can meet any time! I prefer meeting at Argo Tea because their tea is nummy and I have a frequent buyers card. >.>

I am considering parting with this lovely Innocent World JSK. It was bought used from comm_sales, worn a few times by me, and is still in pristine condition. I love it but it somehow doesn't feel like my style exactly.

I would like $135 for it or to trade for other classic loli items, show me what you've got! My location is in the southwest suburbs, I'm willing to meet just about anywhere in the metro area.

          This is not a sales post! I just wanted to say that I have a pile of anime/manga/How to Draw things I'd like to get rid of. I just couldn't think of a more effective way to find new homes for this stuff.)
