Okay, so apparently $8 is too high. Fine. I can live with that. So I'm lowering the price for the YOGAP radio "Celebrity Interview" thing down to $5. Maybe I can actually make some money off that. In fact, from now on, anything that isn't already less than $5 will be $5.

Had to go to bed early last night to be up in time to go to this "open interview" thing today. I ended up waiting a shitload times longer than the interview itself. There's going to be more interviews. I sure hope they hire me, or my bank account is going to be very grumpy at me, as it's downtown and requires bus or MAX to get to.
My sleep last night was fitful. Kept waking up, couldn't get back to sleep all the way. Got woken up at one point by the worst acid reflux I've ever had. Took tums, pepto, AND Prilosec. Then an hour or two later got woken up by gas pains. I think my body hates me.
Couldn't get all the way back to sleep. Between worrying about possibly having sleep apnea and my mind refusing to shut the fuck up no matter how hard I tried, and my body doing crazy painful things, it's no wonder I am very tired today.
And then of course I think I finally did manage to get to sleep all the way for about 10 or 15 minutes when the damned alarm went off. I think it's time to shell out for a sleep aid, maybe one of those things that helps you get to sleep quickly and stay asleep. You know, with time-release pills?
I don't think I ever even got enough sleep at any point to dream at all. I hate this shit. I wonder if summer has anything to do with this, because I don't remember my sleep problems being anywhere near this bad in the winter.
I'm gonna take a nap when I'm done with shit today. Which won't be right away. I have to go to Freddy's later. Got cans and bottles to cash in, and need a couple cans of black beans.

I'd buy the shoes in a heartbeat except I don't wear heels! They're cute though, almost makes me wanna learn how to walk in them.
But then again I don't need the added height...
Sailor playsuit (size m) $38

Playtime blocks $10

Blue shoes (size 7.5) $25

Kitschy art print $15

Sesame Street bag $29

| Be careful what you wish for |
[11 Jul 2009|10:41pm] |
kengr just told me a joke:
Man 1: Did you hear about what happened to Jake?
Man 2: What?
Man 1: He found a genie.
Man 2: Cool!
Man 1: Not so much.
Man 2: Why's that?
Man 1: got a bit greedy, and not careful enough.
Man 2: Oh?
Man 1: He asked for his weight in the most valuable metal the genie could think of.
Man 2: So?
Man 1: The genie gave him his weight in Californium.
Man 2: So?
Man 1: Californium is radioactive. It has a critical mass on the order of *ounces*.
Man 2: Oh. Oh my.
Man 1: It's why there's now a crater in Iran. And Iraq. And everything else within 400 miles of him.

| Writing scripts for more YOGAP radio |
[11 Jul 2009|10:13pm] |
I'm writing scripts for a couple episodes of "Celebrity Interview" with Vick Shunnel. One is an interview with the Discordian Grim Reaper who was arrested in a previous article, and the other is an interview with Captain Salty Dildo, a pirate of the Ass Sea. Yes, an Ass pirate. :-D I think that one is, so far, funnier than the one with the Discordian Grim Reaper.
I'm writing them as scripts for them to be YOGAP radio episodes. The first one is 4 pages long and so far, the second one is 4 pages as well; it might end up being longer. So these will be longer than the first YOGAP radio transmission; the script for _that_ was only 2 pages handwritten.
I'm thinking $10 for each of these, since they're longer. But I want to check with y'all first. They're not done yet, but if you want to start donating to them, I'll have no objections. :-) Anyway, here's a poll:
Poll #1428613 Celebrity Interview price
Open to: All, detailed results viewable to: AllDo you think $10 is reasonable for the Celebrity Interview radio broadcast? What price do you think is reasonable?
Remember, of course, that on these projects you can donate as much or as little as you want/are able to. Every dollar helps!

| Oldies seen in a new light |
[11 Jul 2009|07:22pm] |
kengr is playing a playlist of oldies with... interesting lyrics. Songs about transgendered people. And these are oldies. Songs like "Lola," which I remember loving as a kid, when you actually listen to the lyrics, are really not intended for kids. Which reminds me: listen carefully to the lyrics of My Sharona. :-D
