Picture Contest Rules & Past Winners
Picture Contest Rules:
Once a week we will hold picture contests. These are the rules...
1. Only one entry per person. (Even if you have multiple Chihuahuas, you can only enter one photo, but in the photo can be any number of people or animals.)
2. The entry must fall within the theme of the contest. (i.e. do not enter a picture of Chihuahua playing in the snow when the theme is "Chihuahuas Wrestling")
3. You must have taken the photo (not your friend or a professional photographer,) and the Chihuahua in question must be owned by you or a close friend or a family member.
4. Post your entry as a response (comment) to the post made by one of the mods announcing this week's contest.
5. With your submission for the contest you may offer your idea for next week's contest theme. (i.e. if you would like the next contest to be "Big Chihuahua Ears" you may post along with your entry the suggestion for next week's theme.)
6. Do not vote for yourself/your Chihuahua(s). We know how you feel about your pet(s). Voting for them is pointless. If everyone votes only for themselves we'll never get anywhere. ;] Breaking this rule will disqualify your entry.
7. Do not ask non-members to vote for you. Do not ask non-members to join to vote for you. This is not a popularity contest. No one is winning fame or fortune. This is for fun, fun for everyone. By breaking this rule your entry will be disqualified.
8. If your Chihuahua wins two consecutive weeks in a row, you are unable to enter him into the contest immediately after his second win. Once you skip the contest after his second win you are free to enter him or her back into the contests!


The winning Chihuahua will become the community's mascot for one week. His/her picture will be made into an icon for the community. It will remain the community's official icon for one week (beginning when the winner is announced and ending when the next winner is announced.) The community's colour scheme will change to honour the new winner. Occasionally, special contests will be run where the winner may receive art (done by tenna and/or rozae) of their Chihuahua.
