This has been sitting on my hard drive for the longest time waiting for me to get off my butt and write it up and finally I am doing it so here you go.
Today I will show you how to go from to using Photoshop CS3, includes Selective Colouring so is not translateable.
Take your base and crop it to 100x100 and sharpen it, in my case I got
Duplicate your base, drag it to the top and set it to Screen 100%
Next you want a Selective Colouring layer, my settings were: Reds: -52, +24, 0, 0 Cyans: -56, -76, 0, 0 Neutrals: +44, +29, +38, 0
My result here was
I still found it bland so I continued with a Hue/Saturation Layer wwith Saturation +38 and I then set that to Lighten 100%
I still wasn't happy so I started a new layer and flood filled it with e5d482 and set it to Colour Burn 100%
Now Carrie is a little yellow so I started another new Selective Colouring layer this time with the settings: Reds: -53, +5, -47, 0 Neutrals: -29, +21, -22, 0
And I was then left with which I liked so left it alone.
I hope you found this useful and comments are always welcomed :)
