I was planning to do an icon post this week but I've been up to my eyeballs in things I have to do so I'venot had time to do it but I am going to do one next week.

I have an icon post to do tomorrow/Friday but in the meantime I thought I'd post this tutorial.

We're going from to using Curves, Colour Balance and colour fill layers (1 of each).

I really didn't want to do this but unfortunately I've been seeing some of the icons I've made floating about without giving proper credit to me, well actually without giving any credit to me, so I've made the tough decision to make the community 'Members Only' :( I know there are lots of you out there who do take and give proper credit or simply support my work and for that I am grateful to you all and I'm sad that a small minority have forced me to do this.

I have gone back and made all the old entries Members Only, I will have a banner up in a couple of days (explanation after this) saying it's Members Only but the one thing I am going to do is keep all posts open for a couple of days before I lock them and then you'll have to join to see them.

I was going to post an icon post this weekend, a big one at that, I have hit a small problem though. My computer has been infected by some spyware/malware and so I can't use it and so I can't post the icons or make the Members Only banner :( Don't wory though, I have backed up the icons, incase my computer gets wiped when it is fixed, and they are ready to post, I just need to borrow a computer to upload them or wait for my computer to be fixed before I can upload them to Photobucket and post them. I'll do it as soon as I can though.

I couldn't find grungy borders like I wanted so I made some and I figured I'd share them with you all.

I feel like crap so naturally the first thing I think of to do is write up a tutorial right? A banner post shall follow tomorrow probably and an icon post hopefully *crosses everything that can be crossed* will be done later this week. I was going to do the icon post last week but thigns haven't been so great at home.

This has been sitting on my hard drive for the longest time waiting for me to get off my butt and write it up and finally I am doing it so here you go.

Today I will show you how to go from to using Photoshop CS3, includes Selective Colouring so is not translateable.

I'm back with another tut and this time it is based around Trish Stratus because I made the icon for an icontest at trish_stillness (which I came 3rd in) and I liked the colouring so saved it.

I will show you how to go from to or a few other alternatives made in PSPX, it is fully translateable.
