Question about the Rosemont Blue Line. . .
I'll be taking the Blue Line out to Rosemont next week (in the late afternoon/early evening), and then I will need a cab to get to my "final destination." Can anyone tell me if there are cabs at the station on a regular basis? Or will I need to call one when I get there? Has anyone done this? What cab service did you call? Did they show up in a reasonable amount of time?

Any advice or info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I went out that way to go to Medieval Times a few years ago.. we got to Rosemont around 7 on a Friday night and were going to catch a cab to the place and there were NO cabs. We went out on the highway there by the convention center and nearly got run over.. took us 15 or 20 minutes to finally hail one down.

I would recommend calling, though I don't know a good service out there.

Every time I've been there, there were cabs. Any of the usual wolley or checker or whatever cabs should be callable from there - if they need to re-route you to a suburban dispatch, they will, or they'll give you the number.

I've personally never seen cabs at the Rosemont station. As a last resort, you can just go to the next stop (O'Hare) and easily get a cab there.

If your final destination is in Rosemont at one of the hotels or convention centers, you could easily walk. It's not as far of a walk down the road as people make it out to be.

i frequently use the rosemont stop and take cabs from there most days. you shouldn't have a problem with a cab. they are always there. otherwise you can call Rosemont Taxi 847-827-0110 they will send out a cab immediately.
