Coop Transit Authority

Screw this migration shit, I'm going to Midway.
I was traveling to the Caribbean Festival of Life on the 7/4 on the Green Line. At the Clark and Lake stop this pigeon flew into the car. Usually the birds instinctively fly over the train when startled on the platform, but this one, not so bright.
At first it freaked out and most people fled to the other end of the car while it fluttered in a panic. Then it calmed down or got tired and just sat on seats for a while. Every time the train stopped it would flip out and bash into the windows near the door but not the door, and when people waved it the right way it flew the wrong one. After about six stops, I noticed the angle of its leaps and when it took off, swatted it with a newspaper in the correct direction. It got off the train at 47th. That downtown pigeon was gonna have a hell of time getting home.
