ChibBeatles! A slashy little comic based on The Beatles!

They're Chibis (most of the time, though sometimes my style drifts away from true chibi-ness), not children- this isn't like Muppet Babies. I started doing these on [info]beatlesslash, and many people suggested I make my own comic community for them, and finally I have done so! I'm not sure how often I will update it; it could be a lot, it could be a little... most likely it'll be a lot and then not very much and then a lot again, with a few random drawings in between.



Three guidelines to follow that will keep things going smoothly:

1) Critiques/criticism are not asked for and not appreciated, constructive or otherwise! This comic is a side-line from my serious work, something I do to play around. Style and content will vary with my moods. Just enjoy :3

2) I'm begging you, don't beg me for anything- special request artwork, a certain favored pairing action (I'm mostly into J/P, but I try to mix things up for the benefit of those who aren't- but try to imagine writing for a pairing you really don't like. Hard, huh? I try anyway- stick around, your favored pairing will probably come up eventually for something!), etc. Sometimes I do gift art, but it's usually because I've been inspired with an idea- not because I've been asked. Suggestions, if not strongly worded or pushy, are not out of line- if you word it like "I can just see _X_" then it won't ruffle me at all. I might still ignore it, but if I like it I might use it. *shrug!* I'm pretty sensitive so if you're not a good friend then probably just sit back and enjoy the ride ;3

3) Please refrain from using animated icons. And by please refrain I mean seriously, don't use them at all. This is a big pet peeve of mine that I recently snapped about- it's gotten to the point where I just don't want to see any of them used here. We're all allowed 6 user pics (more if you have a paid account!), so I'm sure you can find one static-image icon that you like! I know some people take offense at being told what icons they can and can't use, but I browse my comments often, and it's gotten to the point where I dread getting comments just based on the icon used. So, just humor me, kay?

Other than that, just be decent to each other, yunno? I haven't felt the need to actually go in and remove people's membership from the community, but if you deliberately try to piss me off I can always do that.

***UPDATED!!***Note about joining: I've altered the settings so that anyone can join, but only I can post entries (IE, comics!). Anyone (as long as they're a registered user) can still comment. IMPORTANT: If you want the comic on your flist but DON'T want any of the slashy material, you can simply friend this community instead! All of my non-slashy comics will remain public, but the slashy stuff (and especially any adult stuff) will be friends-locked so only members will see it. Keep in mind that there's a lot more members-only content than public, since it is a slash comic ;3

*News*: I created a sketch journal, [info]apt42bsketchart, to contain a bunch of my other art! I have also added that journal of myself as a moderator of this community for convenience sake, so I may reply to comments as [info]apt42bsketchart! :3 ETA: I haven't uploaded anything to [info]apt42bsketchart in a loooong long time, soooo... yeah.

Here are four, but there are many more in the archives! OKAY RULES: (pretty standard)

1) Tell me which one(s) you're using and that you're using it/saving it(them)!
2) Don't direct link, duh, save it somewhere that's yours :3 They're tiny tiny files, there's no reason to direct-link.
3) CREDIT AS FOLLOWS: I'd like in your Keywords include "ChibBeatles!", so that when people hover over the icon they see "ChibBeatles" in there somewhere (though if you use it as your default pic it won't show up, so not as important, but nice). This you have to do: In your Comments, credit me- [info]apartment42b, and also put in [info]chibbeatles. You can also credit me in the keywords if you like. If you want to use them somewhere that's not LJ, be sure there's some way to credit me and mention that it's from LJ.
4) Don't change them! (Including: resizing, adding/removing text or part of the image, putting photoshop filters on them, otherwise modifying it into a "new" icon, or using them as part of another image that's not an icon.)

5) My ChibBeatles icon is not up for grabs! It is my official icon that I use for posts so they're easily recognizable. I'll probably make one to share with all four, but yeah. Officially mine!
6) Please don't make your own icons from the comics or other art I post!
