I have a recipe that calls for frozen and thawed tofu. It tells you to drain the tofu, wrap it in saran wrap and place it in the freezer the night before you use it.
I did this last night, and my tofu has turned a yellowish-brown color - IS THIS NORMAL?! I've never frozen tofu before :/ |

are there any websites that list yr average 'supermarket' companies that happen to have cruelty free ingredients/don't test? i used to use the website whatsinit.com but suddenly it stopped working. but it was really amazing. i was just wondering if anyone knew of anything LIKE it? if you never went to it, it listed every day products by companies that are sold in yr local supermarkets, drug stores, etc for those of us who aren't able to afford/aren't near any natural foods stores. it provided links to companies to email them for yrself but also emails from the website's creator and the companies themselves. it was really informative and i guess the people in charge found out i liked it, or something. |
