My boyfriend and I are going to be taking a long flight (10 hrs) together in a couple of weeks. This is going to be his first time on a long haul flight. I've already requested his meal to be vegetarian (as he is) BUT I'm completely nerve-wracked about it because he's also allergic to nuts (I don't think there's a "no meat, no nuts" option, haha) and he's an EXTREMELY picky eater. I was thinking back to veggie meals I have had on airlines before and I am pretty sure he would shun them all.
Could you please give me tips on things that he could bring to eat (aside from a million power bars) that would be acceptable to bring on the plane and that would also last at room temperature for the duration of the trip? I think he would be okay with a baggie of cut-up carrots and maybe a pita with some falafel balls would last?
For the record, he absolutely loathes rice and bananas. Thanks for any tips you may have, I think I broke my brain trying to come up with solutions! ;) |

Does anyone have any good recipes using carrot juice? I seem to have plenty of it. Amazingly I also have a surplus of carrots so any recipes would be appreciated. Thanks! |
