I'm looking for suggestions for easy, quick meals that take ingredients I will readily have on hand (i.e. no produce, or it doesn't matter what produce I have). Some days I come home hungry with no time to eat and nothing to make that's quick!
So far my staple is my DIY "mac n cheese", which takes about as much effort as Kraft, with results that certainly aren't any less tasty (microwave some margarine, soy milk, nutritional yeast, garlic salt and salt in a bowl and pour it on top of macaroni). It's good for quick calories... again, just looking for stuff to fill me up when I don't have time for real food. |
