About

Hello and Welcome to any and all who join my first community. I have based it off of

charmed_test and several other communities.

I will have one contest per week. The contests will be a bit different from week to week, with two catagories, unless members find a certain type of contest they prefer. Some weeks I will post pictures to use, some just a theme and others possibly a lyric, or some combination. The variety should keep things fresh and interesting.

And now for the Rules:
{1} One entry per catagory, per week unless otherwise stated for that particular contest.
{2} All entries and votes must be completed within the time limit given. Generally, Monday-Friday for posting and Saturday-Sunday for voting.
{3} Entries must be posted as a relply to the challenge post, no links to other journals.
{4} Icons must comply to LJ regulations. i.e. 100 x 100 pixels and less than 40kbs
{5} Please make your own bases and if you use anything such as brushes from someone else, please give them credit. It takes time and effort to create brushes. Credit w/ your entry or on your own info page.
{6} Do not use or Post current challenge entries for sharing in other communities until the challenge is over. If any of your mods find that you have, your entry will be disqualified for the week.
{7} When entering make sure you inclue BOTH the image and url.

Voting:
{1} First and foremost, you can not vote for your own icon(s), or the vote will not count.
{2} Anonymus votes will not count and I do check the votes.
{3} All voting is now being done by poll of some form.
{4} You must vote to be qualified to win and if you know you will be out town that weekend just let us know and we won't disqualify you for not voting. If the mod doing the voting doesn't know though and we don't see your vote you simply won't win if you should have. We also understand emergencies, but please let us know. We are not mind readers. Please remember that.
{5} Vote for the number specified in the poll, no more, no less.

Other Notable Notes:
{1} Seeing as this was my first community it has evolved over time. My goal has always been to make it an active, fun, community where everybody feels welcome and enjoys their stay. So always feel free to make suggestions to me and your other mods over at

mod_charm_it and we will take every suggestion into consideration and decide if it is right for this community. Almost every change that has come about has been at the suggestion of one of the members, so please feel free to make any suggestions.

{2} Awards for now will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Places based upon number of votes for each catagory, given enough entries for voting in each catagory. Again, as the community evolves, I would like to add some fun awards too.

{3} If you have lyric submissions, theme ideas, image requests or ideas, or image submissions please make them at

mod_charm_it. I will make a public post there where you can reply with those idea requests/submissions.
