Her sparkling eyes were covered, her elegant form relaxed as she lay there in the grass. You picked up a strawberry and held it above her slightly parted lips, just close enough for her to notice it. She smiled, biting in the juicy fruit. You smiled as well and placed a tender kiss on her lips.

Now, she lies in your arms, fingers tangled in your hair.
“Don’t leave me,” she whispers.
A single tear rolls down your face and you pull her closer, cherishing every second, never wanting to let go.

Yet, as always, you are gone before sunrise.
